“This hotel is stunningly beautiful. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have daily housekeeping. The beach is also very nice in a "W" shape. On the Southern part there is a lot of seaweed. On the Northern part is very nice with an area roped off for swimmers/snorkelers. There are two main pools with swim up bars and a lazy river that goes through the resort. The lazy river has an end, so you'll have to get out and walk 5 feet if you want to go around and around all day. The reasons for the 3 star rating is due to check in and food/beverage. Check in was 3pm. I arrived at 2:30, was told I had to wait until 3, then was told it was going to be another 10 minutes, then another 20 minutes, and at 4pm I was finally allowed to check in to the room. That's really not acceptable and we should at the very least have the room ready by 3:00pm. Food and beverage here was mediocre. Since it's an all inclusive resort, I would expect the drinks to be weaker, but after several drinks and feeling nothing, I am assuming the bottles of alcohol were actually bottles of water. I resorted to just taking a shot every hour, as the drinks are extremely sugary and contain no alcohol. There is a buffet for all 3 meals, and it is all mediocre, and worse than other all inclusive resorts in the area. The dinner buffet was the absolute worst and I ended up just not eating the first night I arrived. After that, my concierge was able to secure me some reservations in the specialty restaurants (no extra charge for most of them). These specialty restaurants had very good food. But you had to book them days in advance in order to get a reservation. For people staying less than 4 days, I doubt you will be able to get a reservation at all. The restaurants I went to were the Steakhouse and the Brazilian Steakhouse. Both were excellent. Excellent waiters and excellent food. Also side note - be mindful there are animals on the resort. I was not used to seeing raccoons during the day (in the United States this means possible rabies) but it appears to be common here. There are other cute creatures such as agouti and lizards here. They don't bother anyone and are used to people.”

“DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING. Where should I even start?? When you first come, the reception desk is beyond unfriendly. They just give you your key and that’s it. No explanation of where things are, no help, when you ask them a question it’s like you’re annoying them or should already know the answer. The drinks are TERRIBLE. The food is even WORSE. So bland, not tasteful at all. Such a waste of a huge buffet, it’s like they’re feeding us old food to get rid of it. The shuttle service could care less if you need transportation. it’s like you’re bothering them. The rooms are OK, meaning they are comfortable, large but the faucet was out of its place, the bathtub/jacuzzi wasn’t even working and there was water leaking out of somewhere in the bedroom area and we would wake up to a puddle every morning. And The toilet Doesn’t flush!! For room service, only certain items are “free”. The rest you have to pay for. There’s so many things in here that you pay extra for. Didn’t we pay for all inclusive? You need reservations to eat in the restaurants so if you don’t book it in the morning, you’re out of luck. You’re lucky if you find Concierge around your rooms. We overheard many folks have issues with the spa and the restaurants weren’t good either. The pool area is nice. That’s about it.”
