“I loved this hotel! The front desk staff was so friendly and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. I also overheard them helping others with tour information. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were relatively large for Iceland. I liked the closet and storage space. The shower had excellent water pressure and the toiletries were premium. The room was soundproof and featured cute decor. The lobby also had a kitschy modern aesthetic. The breakfast was delicious.”

“Wonderful, welcoming trendy hotel right on the waterfront close to restaurants, museums, and boat tours. In just a few minutes walk, you can be in the old town area.
The downstairs has so many little nooks with chairs and coffee tables for relaxing, and several separate lounges for reading or having dinner with friends if you can snag it first. Our room was small but warm, very clean, with comfy beds, and a fabulous "rain" shower with plenty of hot water. Really enjoyed the big bottles of toiletries provided in the room too. We paid a bit extra to get a balcony room overlooking the marina and it was well worth it. Wonderful views!
The hotel restaurant, Slippbarinn, was fantastic - we ate dinner there twice, and really enjoyed our meal both times. On Saturday night we had the extra bonus of a DJ performing, spinning fab tunes. We booked breakfast with our room, and the morning buffet was fantastic - quite a spread that got us off on a good start each morning. We were sad when our trip came to an end and we had to say farewell!”
