The five-story Holiday Inn's 120 rooms all feature cable TV work desks coffeemakers and mini-fridges. The heated outdoor pool and fitness room help guests stay active year-round. There's also a business center on-site. Come evening signature cocktails and local ingredients dazzle guests in the on-site restaurant and lounge and limited room service is also available. This Holiday Inn is located in historic Charleston one mile from the South Carolina Aquarium and Fort Sumter ferry stop. It's a half-mile off I-26. For a cultural take on the city guests head 12 miles to the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens or four blocks to the Charleston Museum. The hotel is 10 miles from Charleston International Airport.

“I would love to rave about this place. The front desk team was great during my stay. However, I contacted them about a cockroach in my room and the response I got was some version of “that happens with this weather down here” and they offered no solution whatsoever. Further, I contacted them about a shirt I left in the closet. I gave them the room number, where I left it, and a description. It was a very important shirt. The final resolution was “we didn’t find it,” which, frankly, is hard to comprehend given no one was in my room besides me and their team and somehow it disappeared. They were attentive, but gave zero solution or offered any compensation of any kind for two very significant issues. Not a chance I’d go back.”

“I travel quite a bit and this was an excellent hotel experience! We were in town for what was supposed to be a one night trip. I booked with snaptravel (also highly recommend) But then our return train home was canceled. So we decided to enjoy more of Charleston and booked two more nights. All of the staff was so pleasant! Front desk, day and night shifts, valet attendants, house keeping and maintenance! I used the guest service laundry facility since we only had clothes for one night. But after I washed my clothes, the dryer was broken. So the maintenance guy took my clothes and had them dried for me with the housekeeping dryer. We will definitely stay here again. Our room was so comfortable and roomy!! We had a corner room with big windows. And the pool was really nice too. I enjoyed my coffee by the pool in the mornings. There’s a covered outdoor space if it’s raining. They even had a comfortable library to just relax in. As well as a fitness center too. The location is fabulous, right next to King street and easy to walk to many restaurants.”
