“Unfortunately our stay here was terrible. Upon arriving at our scheduled time, people ahead of us were already complaining that their check in time was taking more than an hour. Regardless of booking at least 1 month in advance, I was told that they had double booked my room therefore it's no longer available. They advised that they would upgrade us to an Executive Suite for the inconvenience, however there was only one bed and an additional bed would be brought in within another hour or two. After agreeing to this, we were later told that they had located availability for our original room ($323.10 per night for a one night stay in a Deluxe Double Room). This was disappointing, however the check in process had lasted 45mins and we were becoming impatient. In the most respectful way possible, it was difficult to communicate our needs to the reception staff due to the language barriers. Although I'm sure this was mentioned in the fine print of our booking, we were surprised to learn that a $100.00 bond would be required with an additional cost of $50.00 for valet parking (the only parking option available). I queried if the valet parking cost could be ignored due to the current inconvenience (now 1 hour since arriving), however this was not possible. The room itself was extremely outdated for the price and for a 5 start hotel, however it was warm and tidy. There were only 2 bath towels in the room despite a 3 person booking, and house keeping as well as reception did not answer their phone to request more. It was disappointing to learn that the indoor pool and spa closed at 7:00pm, and there were no pool towels available. You're only provided with 1 room access card, therefore it's difficult to go your separate ways with other family members. Overall, I'm disappointed with the price I paid for the experience.”

Os quartos e a localização são muito bons. O café da manhã é bom, não muito especial. O check-in e o profissionalismo dos funcionários são realmente ruins. O check-in pode demorar apenas 1 hora. Os funcionários mal olham para você e respondem mal às perguntas. Nosso quarto não foi limpo no meio, então tivemos que pedir toalhas limpas e papel higiênico.

They really need to sort their systems out because something is clearly not working. The rooms were fine though. Não fique aqui! Chegamos às 4:45 e nossos quartos “não estavam prontos”, então esperamos 2 horas com muitos outros hóspedes frustrados. A equipe, embora fazendo o melhor possível, não nos deu nenhuma informação sobre o que era o atraso e continuou oferecendo chocolate e bebidas grátis para compensar o tempo de espera. Eles realmente precisam resolver seus sistemas porque algo claramente não está funcionando. Os quartos eram bons embora.

I stayed here for a night on a work trip. The hotel lists itself as a 5 star hotel but this isn't an appropriate rating. Maybe it was when it first opened but now the rooms look very dated and in need of a full refurbishment. The staff were friendly enough and the room was a good size. The bed was comfortable but the overall feel was of a hotel past its prime. Good central location however. Fiquei aqui por uma noite em uma viagem de trabalho. O hotel lista-se como um hotel de 5 estrelas, mas esta não é uma classificação adequada. Talvez tenha sido quando foi inaugurado, mas agora os quartos parecem muito datados e precisam de uma reforma completa. A equipe foi amigável o suficiente e o quarto era de bom tamanho. A cama era confortável, mas a sensação geral era de um hotel passado seu auge. Boa localização central no entanto.

Hotel and rooms where well finished, but let down by poor service (they did acknowledge there was not enough staff). 45min wait to check in (some others said they waited 3hrs!). Got to the room and after quick shower to refresh realized there where no towels in the room. Call to room service went unanswered so resorted to using the bathrobe to dry ourselves before heading out to dinner. Nearly late for dinner as the clock in the room was about an hour slow. After telling the front desk on the way out to dinner that we lacked towels and getting an apology and that they'd sort them for us, when we returned later that night we still had no towels. The call to room service in the morning before showers was unanswered but spoke to the front desk who said they'd arrange straight away. Disappointingly, but not surprising, they failed to eventuate and went to make a cup of tea only to find the small milk carton was missing anyway to open it so the wife resorted to using a pen to poke a hole in the top of it. The breakfast was tasty and had enough staff on but the reception still has a queue the whole time we were eating so used the quick check out and got out of there. Lovely hotel and a good price, but let down by poor service and a lack of responsibility from the staff.

A entrada é grande e adorável, os quartos são bons - eu não diria digno de 5 estrelas, mas eles eram agradáveis e tinham comodidades básicas.Nosso problema foi que nos disseram informações muito diferentes da pessoa que nos registrou do que o membro da equipe que nos verificou em relação ao crédito alimentar que nos foi dado, o que resultou em taxas extras. Parece ser um problema recorrente, pois a pessoa que fez o check-out antes de nós também teve um problema semelhante.Eu recomendaria que eles garantissem que todos os funcionários da recepção tenham as mesmas informações, porque seus erros estão custando aos hóspedes desavisados.

Room, which was lovely and spacious, wasn't ready until 5:30 p.m. But with staffing shortages we roll with the flow. Meal and drink service was wonderful. This hotel is within walking distance to the ferry for day trips to the area islands. Take a business card with you for finding your way back. Currently there is a lot of street construction.

We went there for a night. I forgot an expensive shirt in the wardrobe. We emailed them, called them several times ( they almost never answer the phone) and no one came back to us. I went back there. The receptionist was pretty rude and her manager took over thesituation. I explained the situation and they told me one found my shirt... They also said the client renting the room after me probably took it. And I asked If the cleaning service check and clean the wardrobe...? They answered me they can't do anything for me. Very disappointing customer service. Nós fomos lá por uma noite. Esqueci uma camisa cara no guarda-roupa. Enviamos e-mail para eles, ligamos várias vezes (eles quase nunca atendem o telefone) e ninguém voltou para nós. Eu voltei lá. A recepcionista foi bastante rude e seu gerente assumiu a situação. Expliquei a situação e eles me disseram que um encontrou minha camisa... Eles também disseram que o cliente que alugou o quarto depois de mim provavelmente a pegou. E perguntei se o serviço de limpeza verifica e limpa o guarda-roupa...? Eles me responderam que não podem fazer nada por mim. Atendimento ao cliente muito decepcionante.

The reception staff was really nice and gentle, just having a problem with the machine that was not working, but that ok. Me and my partner was booked a day use room, the room was nice and clean with a big bath tube, which was what I need for that day, but a lady opened the door when we were in the bed and asking “did you checked in?” I mean if we did not how do we get in, then she left without any apologetics, we were actually distributed by that, but understand that not usually have people who book day use room, but I still advise to improve the customer service, make sure nobody in the room before opening the door. Anyways Stamford is a good hotel, the price was nice, even to book a day use room. Recommended for people who want to spend less money but want to get a good quality room to stay , Stamford is a good option.

El hotel esta bien localizado y los cuartos estan bien, aunque una renovacion hace falta pues se ve muy opaco y sin vida. Es realmente un hotel 4 estrellas casi 3.8 por el servicio. La experiencia en general no destaca. Hemos estado en hoteles 5 estrellas y este realmente esta muy lejos de ese rango. Llegamos en nuestro carro tipo 11pm y habia una señora en uniforme que parece ser la botones, pero estaba hablando con algun amigo o conocido, nos vio y ni nos atendio en primer instante, siguio en su conversacion amena, luego al rato que bajamos las maletas del carro sin ayuda de nadie(algo que no pasaría en un verdadero 5 estrellas...) finalmente nos hablo, imprudente lo primero que dice es que si estamos cansados... Y obvio que lo estábamos a esa hora... Aun asi ni siquiera se ofrece a ayudar con las maletas en absoluto ... le solicitamos valet parking (el cual es extremadamente costoso y mas aun cuando carece de servicio absoluto... 50 dolares.... Para parquear sin ninguna atención al huesped... Deja mucho que decir, dos cuadras abajo hay uno a 20 dolares... ) Entramos solos nuestras maletas a recepción donde nos hacen un check in afortunadamente rapido, eso si hay que dejar un deposito de 100 dolarespor si hay daños... Cosa que es molesta pues se supone estamos en un hotel 5 estrellas...en fin en hoteles de menos categoria es esperable. Al entrar a la tina no hay división, se moja todo y no hay antiresvalante puede uno caerse... Algo para que la administración tenga en cuenta. La experiencia de servicio en general es muy regular y se requiere que entrenen mejor al personal de recepción y la señora botones pues carecen de cortesia, respeto y prudencia con los huespedes y sobretodo servicio... El resto de estancia normal. El Internet es limitado...otro punto desfavorable.Estancia 07 enero 2020!
