“CHECK IN: went smoothly, they talked a little too fast (in Spanish), but for the most part the check in went okay. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was great. Absolutely great selection and well stocked...constantly. The cost is higher than normal, but with the exchange rate it's not as bad. You can eat twice for the amount, so you are definitely paying for convenience. But again, it was great. Of the hotels I stayed in while in BsAs, this hotel had the best breakfast. Of the NH hotels I booked, it was the best breakfast, hands down. HOUSEKEEPING. Do you really need to enter my room to ask me about laundry? AREA: Safe area... Minutes walking from Galerias Pacífico at intersection to the right of Starbucks (big store) <>, and if you walk LEFT, then RIGHT you can get to Florida Avenue. There's a great restaurant bar on the side of San Martin that has great food, almost better than most: called "DaDa." You are 3 minutes walking distance. EXCHANGE: unlike most hotels this place does not (did not) exchange cash. Not even emergency cash... similar to the hotels around the corner that I booked, just for comparison. OVERALL: They have a tub, one NH hotel near the obelisco did not have a tub. You're about 10-minutes walking distance to the Tienda Leon bus terminal and the RETIRO train station. You literally walk straight down San Martín (turn right out of the hotel) walk straight down San Martin until you see the white "Egg Sculpture" art... You'll see the park to your left... And you keep walking in front of the Sheraton with RETIRO park to your left shoulder. All of this is very public-high-traffic-safe walking area. At this moment, the Tienda Leon bus station is with 🚧 construction, but it's just 10 dollars (360 ARS) to get to EZE airport. You cross the major intersection to get to Tienda Leon. As far as the NH hotel... The fixtures are older, the room is huge, they have a Euro-style bidet (vs. S'American style). The hallways are a little dingy, but the space is LARGE, and separate from the bathroom area. MINUS = No Money exchange at all, not even a minimum amount. PLUS = Breakfast, the Area, and Extension outlet in the room.”
