“I used a certificate for the stay so I'm more disappointed about it. If I had to pay I would fall into the upset category. First time at any Marriott where is wasn't greeted. The conversation was, checking in, last name, then handed a key. Big problem was when I went into the room it was as hot inside as it was outside. Wall temp said 69 and auto, which wasn't the case. Maintenance came and said to set it at 65 and high fan, where it started to blow cold air. Had to have it that way all night (took several hours before the room started to cool down). I asked about getting a new room, was told no. They had a few left but they were for paying customers.”

“This might have been the best experience I've had at a hotel to date. Night one, I was greeted by the kindest lady without waiting a minute. She checked me into my room and even granted me a late checkout, which my status certainly doesn't normally allow. There was a toilet issue in the room she put me in, but she quickly apologized and placed me in the room next door so that I would not have to lug my luggage far. The room had everything a solo business traveler would need: A large desk for work, a swiveling TV, and a small table to pull in front of the couch to eat while watching TV. The next day, after running downstairs to grab my DoorDash, my key no longer worked for my room. I walked back to the front desk, and this time the hotel manager was up front but on the phone. She immediately nodded and smiled at me to show she knew I was there. In less than 60 seconds she had written down "How can I help you" on a notepad and passed it to me with a pen. I was happy to wait - I was in no rush, but this small act of kindness is a perfect example of how this staff goes the extra mile. I let her know my key wasn't working, and she fixed it while on the phone with a customer. Before I could leave, she put the customer on hold and asked if I would like some water since I had waited. I had not even waited a minute! I told her there was no need to worry, but out from behind the counter she handed me a bag with two water bottles and apologized for the wait. What a pleasant experience. Will be staying here again if I am in the area!”
