“I will start by saying we will definitely be staying here again. I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough. The gardens were beautifully kept (a photo cannot do them justice) and the rooms were elegantly decorated with soft and comfortable furnishings. The bed was perfection. We ate at the on site restaurant Cast Iron for both breakfast and dinner and the food was faultless. The breakfast spread was great, there was a hot full English section as well as continental and I must say the sausages were so tasty. For dinner we ordered two beautiful starters followed by the Iberico pork chop and mushroom tagliatelle (which was incredible). The facilities were lovely. The hotel’s leisure spa, complete with pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, was beautifully kept and so relaxing. We did experience a couple drawbacks during our stay. The first being a 30 minute wait for our drinks to come at dinner, by the time we received our cocktails we had already had our starters and begun the main course. This happened again with our second round of drinks which was disappointing. Secondly, although the breakfast was good, when we arrived at 10.40 all the pastries had gone, we did not fancy the 20 minute wait for more to be cooked so we went without. If breakfast is advertised to be served until 11am then it is expected that all offerings be available until such time. Aside from those small setbacks, we really did have a lovely stay here. The location is stunning and central to many places of interest. We definitely recommend a visit.”

“My husband and i came here today for afternoon tea, we brought his mum for a little treat... The afternoon tea was delicious 😋 one of the best we've had and we've had a fair few! 👌 the service was impeccable, the young woman who looked after us was very attentive and professional and regularly asked if we needed anything else, the teapots were refreshed upon request and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing... a thoroughly pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. The setting here is also wonderful very well maintained grounds adding to the experience... all in all faultless!”
