“This place is NOT a 5-star hotel. It is a glamorized Holiday Inn. - Room is incredibly dated with worn carpet, torn furniture, plastic bathroom, and stained everything. - The heat in my room didn't work in December. They provided a space heater...seriously. - The service/staff is subpar and they can't fill simple requests (like provide extra tea bags or don't charge my room for eating at the Cafe). - The single is extremely small, even for Tokyo standards. - No robe or bath sponge, but you get a new sewing kit everyday, because that is needed... There are many other better places to stay in Tokyo for the same price. This place is a dump compared to them. Have no idea how this place isn't rated lower. Location I guess, but even still, there are better places.”

“Great hotel for our family. We rented a mini suite. I have no idea why some reviewers are trashing this place. Rooms are large even for western standard and very well appointed. Service is friendly and prompt. Breakfast is excellent, at least for Western palate. Convenient attached shopping mall. Lots of small streets with restaurants surrounding hotel. Easy Shibuya access. Would definitely come again. Large, excellent amenities. Great bed. Probably largest bathroom I have ever had in any hotel anywhere. No smoky smell which was reported in other reviews. Carpet is getting a little worn but not bad and I understand they are remodeling.”
