“When we arrived to the hotel everything was good even know they wanted to sale us extra services. It was fine. Then the next day. For unknown reason they lock our room and I ask the house keeping why they lock it. If they can unlock it because we were tired! She call the office to some one to unlock it. No one show up then I call again to the house keeping she call again the office now this time they told her that I have to go. It was far. We went to the office and ask why they lock it. They didn’t know why then unlocked right away with out going over. They just made us go to the office waist of time and efforts!! Then in the same day. The brochure that the give us. It says that the dinner closes at 10:30 and we make plans around the brochure so we went to have dinner at 10:00. Then it was closed. I show them the brochure and they say it was wrong they close at 10:00 pm. I say ok but we still hungry because we plan based on the wrong information that the front office give us is not our fault. That say sorry is nothing I can do. Wow. This vacation are not cheap and stead of fixing it they tell us that!!! Where is the accountability!!!!!!”

“I'm so disappointed about this hotel. I was really excited to met my friends there and enjoy the wedding that we were waiting for a year. Sadly the people there make everything difficult I want to think is because the policies in the hotel are very strict. And also I found very bad attention from some workers, instead to find a solution for our necesities they just ignore u, for example in the restaurant we were asking for drinks and one of the women reply: :I don't serve drinks" in a really rude mood how can I know that it wasn't her job? Instead of it she could say, "just a moment my partner will help you soon", and for sure she doesn't help us in anything. Each time that I visit the the lobby I hear people complaining. I guess I'm not the only one who was so disappointed with the bad service. I won't never come back and of course I won't recommend it with my friends. The only good things were the cleaning and a few people from the staff who were friendly and polite. The rest of the other were rude and didn't show any interest for help us.”

Gostei do hotel em geral, mas há 10 anos atrás era substancialmente melhor. Agora não havia bebidas frescas nem música logo à chegada, após uma viagem longa (o que era uma óptima receção), o snack bar 24 horas durante a noite só tinha hambúrgueres (na primeira noite foi o que me calhou), as toalhas dos quartos eram levadas e depois não eram substituídas, lençóis de cama rotos… enfim.. espero que recuperem o brio!

El hotel está súper bueno. Ha habido un cambio notable en la animación la cual ha mejorado bastante, destaco mucho a Mitzi y a sus compañeros que estuvieron realizando actividades súper creativas y metiendo buen ambiente en todos los momentos del día.Los shows son muy buenos, la comida muy rica, las habitaciones están bastante bien, espaciosas y todo.Lo único que no me gustó es que algunos colaboradores de bares y restaurantes hacen menos al mexicano (dejando muchas veces de atendernos por dar mayor prioridad a los extranjeros).

El hotel es muy grande, tienen muchas actividades para pasarse todo el día ocupado y entretenido. En especial me encantó el grupo de entretenimiento en especial el jóven Jesús, tiene mucho carisma, sabe tratar a la gente y también hace que quieran participar en sus dinámicas. Saludos.

Poco recomendable, no deja nada que desear a cualquier hotel todo incluido de cualquier país del mundo, colapso total de todas sus instalaciones, muchísima gente que no són capaces de gestionar, imposible reservar en un restaurante, porque está todo lleno, pasas por delante de uno de ellos y están medio vacíos. Habitación justa, en cuanto a mantenimiento, TV cama y aire acondicionado. Les comunicamos incidencias en nuestra estancia y, 0 solución. El traslado entre instalaciones un auténtico caos. Estancia muy poco recomendable.

Después de mi segunda estancia, he de decir que el servicio y la relacion calidad-precio han bajado... El todo incluido, ya no es tan todo incluido. Los cócteles se pagan a parte, la comida en la playa ahora también de pago. Los restaurantes a la carta, son casi imposible reservarlos (estancia de 9 días) desde el primer día estaban ocupados o ya no daban servicio.En la habitación antes ponían mas "amenities",había una cafetera/tetera, reposición de gel, champú, etc... antes te ponían 2 botellas de agua (ahora solo 1 para 3 personas, y eso que lo hemos reclamado 2 veces).Reposición de refrescos, ahora se les "olvida" (mas de 2 días). La ducha/bañera tiene fugas x varios sitios, y la solución del personal de mantenimiento fue que pusiéramos toallas para que no se salga el agua (pero luego ¿como nos secamos?).Las actividades gratuitas también son difíciles de dar con ellas, en mi caso pregunte 2 veces por la clase de buceo en piscina. La primera respuesta fue que ese día se hacía en el Tulum. Después de preguntar si el martes habría sitio (para reservar palaza)me contestaron que había que reservarlo en el mismo dia. La respuesta del martes fue, que era el día libre del instructor y no había esa actividad.En fin, para ser un 5 estrellas todo incluido, no me parece bien tener que estar todo el día llamando/acercandose al lobby para pedir: gel,champú,agua,refrescos(no tomamos alcohol), paraguas, toallas de baño...y tener que estar pidiendo lo que se supone que tienes pagado. Igual que las toallas de piscina, las cuales tampoco nos dieron a la llegada (tarjetas), tuvimos que subir al lobby para pedirlas y escuchar al personal que ya nos lo habían dado (desde luego no nos apetece tener que estar dando vueltas por el hotel a lo tonto). El tema del agua en la habitación, lo reclamamos en el lobby y al día siguiente tan solo había 1 botella, otra vez...En otros bahía principe, a los niños les suelen poner una bolsita de bienvenida con una esponja de osito y un jabon/gel/champú para niños...nosotros al llegar no teníamos ni siquiera la cama para el niño(tuvimos que llamar para que la pusieran).Hicimos la reserva con 6 meses de antelación, pidiendo 2 habitaciones contiguas (con puerta interior para familia). Unos 15-20 días antes de llegar escribimos email directamente al hotel para "recordar" las habitaciones contiguas. El día de la llegada, tras un viaje transatlántico, tuvimos que estar casi 1 hora en el lobby para la gestión de las habitaciones contiguas, que no teníamos. Tuvimos que ir el primer día a una habitación, para cambiar al día siguiente. Con la consecuente molestia de sacar el primer día ropa, después de un viaje de casi 20horas. Para tener que volver a guardarla en la maleta para cambiar de habitación al día siguiente, y quedarnos sin habitación durante unas horas (eso ya nos lo dijeron).Grupo Piñero, no creo que volvamos a vernos...

Just got back from this hotel, spent 10 days here. Beautiful hotel but, needs some money spent on the outside seating area! In 10 night got a seat once not good. Food was good but, NO SPOONS ON ANY VISIT!!Some of the staff are lovely and service you but, we waited some morning 15/20 minutes for a cup of coffee not good in the morning. Our room was so dark as the trees were blocking the view, first time ever we have not sat outside in the evening as it was dark all day, evening. Beach had no water sports as we were told we’d have a hour a day free.

It was a very nice resort. Staff very attentive.covid-19 protocols were in use and we felt very safe. Lots of open areas to social distance with ease. Osmar (our server)at Le Gourmet was excellent. Pools were clean and the water was beautiful. The rooms were a little musty but it was humid. Would return.

Buen complejo hotelero para pasar unos días agradables y de desconexion en Riviera Maya. Las habitaciones amplias y la cama muy cómoda, baño completo y con balcón. Espacios comunes amplios, piscinas grandes y distancia entre villas para poder pasear agradablemente. No esta a pie de playa pero no lo notas, cada 10min pasan carritos para acercarte a ella y caminando esta a dos pasos. Animación variada donde los animadores hacen que pases un rato agradable, muy serviciales y divertidos. Comida variada en buffet a excepción de lo que siempre suele haber por rutina diaria y restaurantes temáticos a la carta con buena variedad tambien. Resort en el que si lo escoges aciertas!

I've just returned from two weeks and had a wonderful time with my husband and 2 young kids. We found the food options/variety great and we were never unhappy or hungry. Norma in the buffet restaurant was so kind, helpful and welcoming she really was fantastic!! The staff around the pool area are very good, they encourage you to participate in activities without hounding you. Our 4.5 year old son and 6.5 daughter because obsessed with kids club!! Ana, Daniela, Liliana, Katia and Alberto are amazing!!! They don't get paid enough!! Our kids adored them and they take such great care of the children while ensuring they have fun with so many activities planned. They put on evening shows (before the main entertainment) and our kids loved being involved. The costumes are amazing, I've no idea who makes them but they are incredible! Masks were enforced in the restaurants and at the pool bar which we were more than comfortable with. We found the hotel staff to be mostly very friendly. Some kitchen staff not so much but they looked stressed and tired. We used our a la carte reservations and our favorites were Tequila (we went twice) and Don Pablo. Our kids had a great vacation and the only think I could say is that the rooms are dated but eventually all hotels become dated! They need some sprucing up but they were clean.

Si estás buscando un All Inclusive, cerra los ojos y reserva acá. El mejor hotel al que pude haber ido, excelente en cada uno de sus puntos. Personal: excelente atención, interactúan constantemente con el huésped, siempre predispuestos a lo que necesites. Hotel: Espectacular, es hermoso, el complejo es enorme. Recomiendo la pulsera para acceder a todos los complejos. Fue una estadía perfecta

Just returned from this resort last night . Was apprehensive about going due to Covid. Must say that I was very impressed with their protocols with respect to Covid . The complex was immaculate. Masks were worn by all staff and strictly enforced with respect to guests, when entering buffet you were asked to wash hands and your temperature wastaken . When you went to the buffet you were again required to sanitize your hand and put on sanitized gloves while plating you meal . The food was excellent , staff amazing and the grounds immaculate .The rooms are spacious and very clean . The beach is a short train ride (10) minutes and small . The resort is 90 km away from the airport .All in all I have no hesitation in recommending the resort and would return .

Unfortunately, this property does not live up to it's 5-star rating. The suites are in need of refurbishment. Face clothes are only obtained upon asking. Facial issues not supplied. Coffee makers have been removed from suites "due to Covid" (so I was told).Key card access is often a problem. You must take a shuttle to one of their other properties to get to the beach. The food is good and wait staff friendly and attentive. If you are going to spend the money for a 5-star hotel, this is not the one to get the best bang for your buck !

Unfortunately the management does nothing to enforce the pandemic rules on the guests, so you have hundreds of people flaunting the rules and walking around inside without masks.The workers are friendly, most of the food is excellent and in general it's a fun place to be.My whole vacation here was great and would have been five stars until I tested positive. Once that happens, you're isolated and treated as a burden instead of a guest.You'll be relocated to a deteriorating room that they wouldn't be able to give away. There are bugs all over the place in mine and a layer of grease on the floor somehow. One of the weirdest things is that there are no blinds to be closed so anyone can look into your room and you have no privacy.They deliver three cold meals a day to you. The front desk reluctantly took my calls and they actually refused to acknowledge that my cold food was an issue, saying that's how it's supposed to be served. To their credit the food is varied each day and would probably be great if it arrived hot or even warm. When you're stuck in a room by yourself all day, the meals are kind of a high point and it's so disappointing to be greeted with food like that.

Tuvimos un problema con una reserva en los restaurantes a la carta. Cuando fuimos a hablar con el gerente al cual le dicen "El chino" mismo que no nos brindo su nombre nos comento que el no podía apoyarnos y que no habría ninguna solución, esto me parece poco ético ya que es un problema que ellos mismos ocasionaron, otro tema importante es que en 2 ocasiones no hicieron limpieza en la habitación, considero eso es super importante sobre todo en esta temporada donde sabemos que por temas COVID la higiene debe ser mayor.Fueron los únicos inconvenientes pues las instalaciones son hermosas y puedes descansar y disfrutar de todas las actividades que brinda

Hotel bien y con buena atención. Comidas y piscinas bien. Cenas a la carta, muy bien. Playa pequeña, lejos, abarrotada de hamacas y mal mantenida (la zona correspondiente a este hotel). No dejaron pasar al personal de nuestro centro de buceo a buscarnos al hotel (tienen sus centros en exclusividad y boicotean al resto). Sobreprecios en los taxis a/desde el hotel. Tours con precio abusivo. Wifi bien. Nada recomendable salvo para quedarse en el hotel y su piscina y actividades, sin ir a la playa ni hacer visitas por la zona (salvo alquilando coche fuera de allí y haciéndolo por cuenta de uno).

25.12.21 500$ USA has been stolen from the safe while we were on the beach! Is it happy Christmas from the hotel???? This Christmas we've spent 4 hours at the police station making the report about our stolen money. We came back to our room after the beach and found our room and safe opened. We had to insist on drawing up a protocol, which the staff did not want to do and then did not want to sign it, talking to each other in Spanish and not explaining anything to us.This is a terrible level of service and guest support.Paid a lot of money for this hotel and feel completely unprotected and abandoned here. The staff didn't want to help, they just sent us to do everything on our own at the police station, they even didn't offer a help with the taxi, despite the fact that all our money has been stolen! It is the worst hotel ever. The staff doesn't care about you at all and you are not safe at this place.

Buffet food selection could be a little better as I felt a lot of days we ate the same things so it became a bit repetitive. Overall still a great experience and staff were respectable as well as kind hearted made you feel like home. Very very clean and excursions they offer allow you to explore the true beauty of Mexico. I highly recommend this to anyone travelling wether with family or a couples getaway.

Mi nombre es Luis Lagos Yo estuve hace 15 años atrás vinimos a pasar nuestro aniversario y fue un error.. Ayer fuimos al Restaurante Mediterráneos teníamos hora 20:30 y nos atendieron a las 21:30 la comida se les quemoooo el Garzón con su mascarilla abajo.. Lógicamente nos fuimos y no terminamos el postre… Eso es una de las cosas!! Hay cosas positivas claramente pero opacan lo bueno que Fue el Gran Bahía Principe Gestione una reunión con alguien que se responda y hasta ahora nadie se hace cargo…..Luis Lagos Extraordinario mis celebración de mis 15 años!!

My family and I got almost $500 stolen from our room and they refused to accommodate or compensate us in any way. I have stayed here before but will never come back if this is not fixed before I leave. Would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Los espectáculos son excelente, en especial las actividades con los chicos de entretenimiento, tanto en las piscinas como durante la noche, por ejemplo, la discoteca en silencio, muy agradecido de Luis y Fatima, son excelentes, en especial Luis, muy atento, excelente persona y puedo decir que cuento con un nuevo amigo en Riviera Maya 😊🤗👍🏼

Do not by any means book the transportation directly from the hotel. Their company tries to screw you out of the fare, and then there’s no customer service to follow up. Geydi from Coming2 was actively rude to us and accused us of lying to them? Would never happen elsewhere. Watch out for the Tequila restaurant - it made us very sick. The drinks are OK for an all inclusive. The COVID testing takes a half day to wait in lines, and the tram system almost caused a fight when we arrived. We were there 3 full days, and spent half of them worrying or waiting to talk to someone about something gone wrong. Would not return, would not recommend, but hey if you’re looking for a bargain go for it.

What an amazing resort! Even though it wasn’t back up to 100% capacity, and not everything was open (Food truck, swim up bars, and some other restaurants), due to COVID, everything and everyone went above and beyond! I will definitely recommend to others and plan to one day be back!

Luis and Maria in entertainment were absolutely amazing! We loved playing water volleyball with Luis and all of our interactions with him and Maria were so lovely!! They made our stay here so much fun and cannot wait to come back

We're on our last dear here and are so sad to leave. We've had such an amazing time! The entertainment staff, especially Rafael and Fatima are so awesome! They really take the time to get to know you. The food everywhere was really tasty. Lots of options. You can always find something delicious to eat. Nightly shows were great too. Really enjoyed the circus show and silent disco. We booked coco bongos through the hotel and had a BLAST! Highly recommend this resort. Looking forward to coming again but bringing the kids next time as the kids waterpark and club look really fun

Boas instalações e bom staff. Restaurantes a la cart apenas 2 vezes por semana e esgotam as reservas. A praia fica a 10m a pé (também pode esperar pelo transporte). As bebidas são feitas à olho, umas calham bem outras não. No geral gostámos da estadia, mas para um 5* estávamos à espera de mais.

Quiero recalcar que el complejo en sí es de 5*, pero doy 3 pir lo siguiente. Es mi quinta vez en un Bahia Principe entre grand y luxury y tengo que decir que la peor de todas. Me planteado la opción de cambiar a otra cadena hotelera para mis próximos viajes. No por personal q es muy amable siempre, pero esta última vez me siento engañado (del 30/10 al 8/11). Llamé antes de venir para asegurarme que por tema Covid, todos los servicios del hotel estaban ya en orden, y me dijeron que sin problemas, que lógicamente mascarilla y algún que otro protocolo cocid, como es lógico y comprensible, por lo que decidí hacer el viaje. Mi sorpresa fue cuando a mi llegada, me informan que todos los servicios de la Hacienda (disco, bares y casino) y todos los bares de piscina estaban cerrados por Cocid y que a las 0:00h ya no existe nada en el hotel en cuanto a Ocio. Algo q me parece lo suficientemente importante para que informen a los clientes que vamos de vacaciones y sobre todo los bares de la piscina que para mi es uno de mis principales atractivos ¿que diferencia hay entre servir en la barra de una isla fuera de la piscina o dentro? Esto me enfado mucho. Además, la transportación con carritos de mis últimas visitas a esta vez, me ha resultado HORRIBLE en esperas, se nota que no tienen aún el personal de antaño... aubque este echo, por si solo, lo ubiese comprendido. En fin, de haber sabido todo esto, ubiese pospuesto mi viaje para mas adelante que tenía múltiples opciones, algo que ha hecho, que me vaya muy enfadado porque tenia solución con una mejor información. Lo siento, pero han perdido un cliente Fiel.... probaré otra cadena en mi próxima visita al caribe.

We have been many times to the property, really enjoyed our vacation. Staff is very friendly, great food and large property.The buffets at Coba was the same as past, large selection of good food. They give you a glove to wear while handeling the serving utensils. For covid they ask you to were a face covering while indoors and interacting with staff. Resort can only be at max half full, you never feel crowded.Great ocean to bring your snorkeling gear, as there are lots of fish to greet you.Our only big complaint is access into the water at the beach. Looks like there has been some storms taking away the soft sand. Entrance into the water is rocky and a big dip. We both fell a few times getting in and out of the water. Near the end of our trip they started to add some sand near the Akumal beach. Sand shoes would be a good idea. The dock they are starting to replace, but will take time.

Bueno...... definitivamente hay cosas muy buenas y rescatarlos, pero siempre las malas son con las que más te quedas, llegamos ayer, recepción increíble, el personal y medidas de higiene super bien, llegamos a la habitación y si, las instalaciones ya son un poco viejas pero pensé mientras este limpio y tenga una buena experiencia esta bien... ok el botones no nos dijo nada sobre la habitación NADA ni la caja de seguridad, luces, etc, lo normal de un hotel de 5 estrellasla caja de seguridad no sirve, 😔mal... ok, siguiente punto, hoy por la mañana llamé por que encontré una cucaracha muerta debajo del lavabo, esta bien no pasa nada estamos en medio de la naturaleza y entiendo que es normal, me dijeron que limpiarian y fumigarian, ok, 16 horas después lacucaracha sigue ahí.... en el restaurante de snakcs esta la limpieza TERRIBLE comida tirada tirada el pisoun asco, el piso super mojado que te puedes resbalar, la actitud del personal de cocina fatal, 5 minutos antes de las 6 apagaron la maquina de helados por que cierran a las 6, ok entiendo pero la manera en la que me lo dijo el "chef" acordono el lugar y me dijo pues si quiere un helado aquí ya no hay, y bueno, a lo mejor esta gente no sabe lo que uno tiene que hacer para ir de vacaciones unos días y tené recuerdos y esperas gratas, REGRESAR... JAMAS, RECOMENDARLO NUNCA, lo siento pero no llenaron mis expectativas y no no no me llevo una buena buena experiencia 🤷♀️ lastima que no elegí bien.

Todo el personal super amable y excelente!! Las habitaciones muy anticuadas,el baño es una lástima que no tengan regaderas aparte sin las tinas, no consideran a la gente mayor, ya que es muy difícil para la ellas acceder a la regadera, las camas un poco duras, muy pocas amenidades, muy largas caminatas para llegar a las habitaciones. Me quede 3 noches, y solo nos dejaron reservar 1 sola noche en los restaurantes de especialidades Mucha gente y un solo bufete para poder desayunar y cenar, largas filas y espera para poder comer

Pésimo servicio desde nuestra llegada con los maleteros, poco personal para atender bar de la terraza, pésimo servicio d la gerente en turno del restaurant mediterráneo, poco profesional y altanero, no olviden q el turismo mexicano es quien mejor remunera y valora sus servicios. No confundan los protocolos de salud covid-19 con la descortesía y malos tratos. Después d 12 años de elegir bahía príncipe para pasar vacaciones familiares hoy nos vos decepcionados por el mal servicio. Buen hotel, buena comida,aunque esta bastante anticuado (habitaciones, instalaciones...) se ve q es antiguo, con el tema del.covid no hay mucha animación (ni discos ni pubs para tomar nada) y alcohol solo se sirve hasta las 00 ademas que hay servicios q no están funcionando (ej. La barra de la piscina, no pasan los camareros a ofrecerte nada mientras estas en la piscina...). En este sentido me ha decepcionado bastante no ha sido como en otros hoteles

Un hotel extenso, forma parte de un gran complejo que incluye al Tulum y al Akumal, su servicio excelente, su comida tipo bufete variada y sabrosa; las albercas muy grandes y con actividades muy entretenidas las distancias son largas pero si te gusta caminar lo prefieres a estar esperando los carritos más de media hora para un trayecto de 10 minutos. Su playita pequeña pero acogedora. Vaya una cordial felicitación para todo su personal que siempre tienen una respuesta acompañada de una gran sonrisa, desde la recepción, los meseros, los de entretenimiento, incluso hasta el personal de mantenimiento. Una especial mención para Victoriano de recepción quien a pesar de que yohabía tenido un error al hacer el check-in en línea lo corrigió e hizo el trámite muy ágil, también Aureliana y Roberto ambos meseros del Kukulkan quienes siempre estaban atentos a cualquier necesidad. El único detalle del supervisor de los botones, de nombre Julio, que a diferencia de su personal se portó grosero y altanero al momento de abordar los famosos "trolleys"

El hotel es grande y puedes acceder a áreas de los otros dos hoteles bahía príncipe, no a todas claro, pero si puedes ir a recorrerlos y a algunos restaurantes, sin embargo la parte de Coba tiene todo lo que necesitas, la piscina para niños está justo a un lado de la piscina de adultos, y los juegos de esa piscina están geniales, las actividades de la piscina están chéveres, concursen puede. Ganarse hasta interactuar con delfines, el restaurante Mikado estuvo delicioso pero más la atención de Alberto. El bufete del Kukulkán es fantástico súper bien surtido. Los bares de las piscina (dentro de la piscina) no funcionan, pero si los de la parte de atrás, es decir el bar tiene dos caras, para que te sientes en la piscina no están en funcionamiento pero si la parte de atrás, entonces sales de la piscina y haces cola para el bar. Recomendaciones: Lleva un Yeti o vaso grande, los vasos del bar son pequeños. Lleva cubrebocas desechables, pero tiralos a la.basura. Si solo estarás 3 días, el mismo día que llegues haz reservación para algún restaurante "a la carta". Si requieres que adornen tu habitación por cumpleaños o aniversario y es temporada alta o el hotel está lleno, habla un día anterior al hotel y pídelo al área de servicio o concierge ya que de no hacerlo no pasará. Excelente hotel para ir con niños y sin ellos.

Very good experience. The property is clean, big, very nice maintained. Very good entertainment program. Our room was perfect, the service is super good and pointed. The food quality and diversification is amazing, a lot of fish, seafood, exotic froid, meat, vegetables, Mexican food and good quality international and local alcoholic beverage. The service is very very good. Special thanks to the kids club team, Ani, Maria, Gabriella and Esdras. My son was staying all day long with them and never was willing to quit. Plenty of different activities, a lot of fun, care and love. Thank you again.

La playa miden como 40 metros de longitud. Está llena de rocas no puedes pisar el mar sin qué te lastimes un pie. Filas enormes para sacar una bebida. Tienes que subirte a un vehículo para que te lleve.La comida nos hizo daño a las 3 personas qué fuimos. Mi bebe trae una intoxicaciónque tuvimos que llevarlo al hospital.

Me encantó la experiencia , porque reserve directo en hotel y el check in fue rapido, el hotel es muy grande pero cada 15 min pasa un carrito en una estación para llevarte a la playa. La habitación es grande, cuenta con lo necesario, un frigobar, cosas de baño , toallas, tv, fue habitación jr y tenia sofa cama y una mesa desayunador, balcon y tina en el baño. Hay un area de jacuzzis , varias albercas muy grandes para tener suficiente espacio para nadar y no hacer tumulto,el snack de la alberca es muy variado, todo muy limpio, gel y guantes en la entrada. El bufet principal para desayunar comer y cenar es enorme y muy bonito,caben unas 300 personas y es muy espacioso. Mi única decepción fue que la playa tenia mucha piedra, lleven aqua shoes para que disfrutes. Muchos camastros y atención rápida en cada bar del hotel. El precio muy bueno para ser todo incluido. Sin duda regresaría.

I have traveled to many places like Turkey and Dubai just to name a few and have never ever experienced anything like this ever .The food hereis mediocre and customer service is terrible and if I could get my money back and not some resort coupon I would definitely have left on day two . Less that a one star I would gladly give this place.I wish I had read the reviews before I got here as this was a suggestion of place to go from a travel agency but in looking at the reviews now online I see a trend of bad customer service towards people with my color so I am not surprised, it’s like they don’t you to ask for what you paid for , you should just take the scraps and be glad you were allowed in ..SMH. Lamentablemente, la peor experiencia que he tenido en un hotel todo incluido, de 5 estrellas no tiene absolutamente NADA, el check in de lo más lento, el servicio de los carritos para llevar tus maletas al cuarto, PESIMO una fila enorme, nadie organizando la fila, la gente amontonada peleándose por subirse a uno, a los nacionales los mandan a un gallinero (teatro) a hacer su check in, calor en todo el hotel, en las albercas no hay meseros ni bares, ya que te sales de la alberca para ir por una bebida, todos los bares tienen una fila enorme. Entenderia que por pandemia tuvieran la mitad de personal si el hotel estuviera igual a su 50% de ocupación, pero no esta así, el hotel esta LLENISIMO! Al final se me ocurrió tomar unas fotos para evitar que más gente viva esta experiencia tan desagradable en vacaciones que se supone que son para disfrutar.Son fotos de días diferentes, el UNICO restaurante bufet tiene dos puertas y a todas horas ambas filas larguísimas

Llevando 6 dias y restandonos 2 para volver a Chile junto a mi familia, completamente decepcionados de bahia principe grand coba, desde el check in mal 0 preocupación mas de 2 horas de un lado para otro, ninguna información, cero preocupación por quien visita por primera vez este pais y hotel, de 5 estrellas nada, con mucha suerte 3, servicio pesimo en bares, buffet(solo tiene 1), nada mas si tienes suerte puedes conseguir alguna hora en restaurant a la carta, habitaciones antiguas, pero lo peor pésima higiene y limpieza solo estiran la cama, baño 0 aseo, pisos y muebles al parecer no se tocan para limpiar, reposición de amenidades minimas nula hay que llamar todos los dias para reposición, para cualquier solicitud o pregunta NO rotundo, medidas sanitarias nulas, solo en restaurant y buffet se preocupan un poco del cubre bocas, horarios de piscinas acotados siendo verano, consumo de alimentacion en el dia restringidos sin nisiquiera una excepción a un niño menor de 3 años, si vienes por primera vez con suerte los últimos días puedes descubrir mas del hotel y entretenciones recorriendo por las de uno, en fin se nota y se deja ver muy ingratamente la discriminacion y clasismo del personal en general e resort ya que la Atencion para los ciudadanos mexicanos y latinos es pésima y cero empatia ( rescato 2 meseros y 2 trabajadores mas super amables y que nos hicieron sentir en algunos momentos con un mejor trato), rescato las piscinas muy buenas y varias, comida variada en el buffet y ricas, restaurant machua y japonés ricos, playa buena algo rocosa pero es la naturaleza esta bien y rica, en fin un gusto amargo y por nuestra parte no recomedable para compatriotas chilenos ojala esperemos que solo fue una mala suerte nuestra y que ojala cambien la forma de funcionar y de atender ya que todos los turistas somos iguales estamos cancelando lo mismo que los europeos y españoles ya que son tratados y atendidos como reyes, lamentable no nos sirve de nada las disculpas ya que no compensan en nada el mal gusto de a ver pasado nuestras vacaciones de esta manera, mas comprensión y compromiso con quien visita sus instalaciones

Voy llegando al Hotel y vengo a la playa la cual está abarrotada... Se nos informo que podíamos usar las instalaciones y bares de los otros hoteles pero ahora mismo me negaron la atención...porque no brazalete es de otro hotel ??? Espero que no sea por ser mexicano.. solo tienen un bar parapedir bebidas y hay una fila con 30 minutos de espera mientras que los otros están vacíos...

La estancia en el hotel genial, algo apagado supongo que debido al COVID, muchos restaurantes cerrados. Lo peor es que en el paquete de luna de miel llevábamos incluidas 7 cenas a la carta, pues solo hemos conseguido 2, todo lleno y la mayoría cerrado, no deberían vender estos paquetes si no pueden llevarlo a cabo. La playa con muchas piedras y era difícil encontrar un sitio, había poco espacio.

We have just returned home from a 5 night trip to Grand Coba. After seeing some of the reviews we were a little nervous but we had an amazing time. We booked a private transfer which took about 1 1/2 hours from Cancun airport. Check in took about 15 mins but we were given cold beer, pina colada, orange juice in the line which was very welcome. It did take a little while to receive our luggage but there were a lot of people checking in. The room and hotel were spotless. The Covid protocol was robust in all public areas and restaurants (mandatory masks, sanitizer and gloves when at the buffet) Food was delicious and plentiful. Good selection of cocktails on offer, the beer was great and the table wine was really good especially the sparkling!The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They work so hard to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. Pools are fabulous always being sanitized with plenty of sun loungers.There’s a great little snack bar by the main pool. Coba has the best beach area. We never had a problem finding a sun lounger. The sand was beautiful - they go above and beyond to keep the beach free of seaweed. There’s a fabulous reef just off shore for snorkeling. The shuttles run like clockwork, we never had to wait very long and they drop you next to your apartment if you ask!! The entertainment was brilliant. We saw 80s show, Rock show and magician. All are well worth a watch. Finally the Covid (antigen) test! If you’re visiting for over 3 nights it’s complimentary. We booked online and we were in and out within 15 mins. We went in the afternoon as there was always a queue in the a.m.Reception kindly printed our results for the airport. All in all we loved the Grand Coba and would not hesitate to book again.

Wonderful place to visit. Staff is friendly there to help. The beach is a little rocky but water is nice. There is a number of pools to enjoy and never a large crowd. Due to covid no pool bars are open but you can access the bar from the outside.

1st off it was a rip off, i paid the same amount each for 3 people to come and then when we arrived was told I needed to pay again for my 13 year old cause he was an adult not a kid and when I showed them I already paid for him they said the receipt,from their website, was wrong and I must pay another $300 which is more then I paid for either adult on the trip. The manger was rude and argued with everything, even though I am a loyalty member and had the receipt proof. Then the room was falling apart.Plugs hanging out of the walls, all lamps falling out of the wall and most didn't work. The food at the one Ala carte restaurant was good but couldn't get reservations at any others as they were all booked. Also no room service and the beach is not very nice. Also can't use the other resorts as states on the website, you can only use coba. The buffet was mediocre and so were the drinks. And the there is not 24 hour service so, if you come back from excursion super late there is no food or drinks available. The idea of this place could be wonderful, but due to false advertisement, rude staff, and no upkeep, I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is the WORST resort I have ever stayed in my entire life. Customer Service is horrendous. Some staff members were friendly, but MAJORITY were not. My mom and I had to move rooms 3 times. They have us in an upper-level room with no elevator, and my mom is handicapped. The second room had a swarm of mosquitoes and I got bit all over my legs from the night we stayed in that room. We were finally satisfied with the third room then we found a lizard in the room. By that day, we were over it and wanted to go home early. The food they had was mediocre. Tulum was a beautiful place, and I enjoyed every moment where I was away from this resort out in México or doing excursions. The prices may look good, but I don't think this place is worth it, even on a budget. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone, and I will never spend a dime of my money here or any Bahia resort in the world. They don't even deserve the one star I gave.

Always an excellent experience, great service and luscious resort - we keep coming back! The rooms are clean and large, the buffet tremendously big and varied and if you can't find something to do at this resort, that is entirely your fault... Personally, I come to chill and relax and I get to do that too - enough space to find peace and quiet! What I get for the price just cannot be beat, hence I keep coming back.
Oh - and the staff are fabulous and SO HONEST! My sis-in-law left her purse at a public bar and one of the staff turned it into lost-and-found... not a THING was missing, she was so grateful!

Staff was really nice and accommodating. Had too much fun with the entertainment team. Maria Fatima Sajid William and Marcos were really good. So many water activities to do, can never get bored here.
Entertainment team’s enthusiasm through out the day is beyond imagination. They make the whole place lively. We extended 2 nights in a row all because of the entertainment activities.

Relação preço qualidade muito bom. É o ideal para famílias com a sua piscina para crianças. A praia ainda é uma boa caminhada, mas nada que não se resolva com os carrinhos que circulam por todo o complexo. O melhor espetáculo de todos é no teatro de Coba. Existe também sport bar. Desde dezembro 2019 já a net de borla pelo hotel todo e quartos. Não é super rápida, mas dá para atualizar as redes sociais e umas videochamadas pelo whatsup.

Don’t believe the 4.5 star review. I looked past the low reviews when booking, but obviously they have some sort of way to get people to write fake 5 star reviews. Went here for a week in October. I have been to different resorts in the past and was definitely not happy with this one at all.
-The rooms do not have a humidity ventilation fan in the bathroom, so the entire hotel room is extremely humid. Ours smelled like mold, the air felt damp, and I kept coughing from whatever was in the air. Black mold on the smoke detector, as well as in the bathroom. I then looked into the air conditioning system grate and could see a ton of disgusting mold growing all over, as well as water just dripping all over the inside of the system. This disgusting mold (that looked like mold on food) was being blown into our room. The A/C systems in this place are not maintained so they just have tons of stagnant water and mold. I felt sick the entire stay there. I complained repeatedly and they bounced me around between people, and their terrible English meant I had to use google translate. They then brought a maintenance guy who said he would “clean” the unit. He unscrewed the grate and used a BROOM to hit the mould until he pulverized it into a fine dust that you couldn’t see anymore and said “there it’s clean.”
-food was substandard. Every night at the snack bar there would be raccoons honoring on the tables and eating the food. The food would sit in warmers forever.
-the hotel was in general disrepair, and there was a sewage smell outside (especially when it rained). The swim up bar smelled like rotting cheese.
-the entertainment was not entertaining whatsoever.
-the resort is HUGE. Expect extremely long walks to anywhere, and waiting for shuttle cars to drive you around. The resort is at this point too large and spread out because they decided to build a massive amount of rooms, but everyone has to share the restaurants.

We loved this hotel! We travelled with a 5 year old and the pools and beach was perfect for her. The beach is very shallow for a ways out so she was able to swim far and there is an artificial barrier for the waves. The pools are also set up the same way for little ones. The buffet has tons of choices and the à la carte Restaurants were decent too. My only complaint there was we tried to book them on the first day but availability was extremely limited then when we actually went to the restaurants they were near empty which made no sense to me. The rooms were very clean and the mini bar stocked daily, my only real complaint there was they didn’t come to clean the room on the last day, which wasn’t a biggie but a little annoying as we ran out of clean/dry towels. The AC worked really well and we had a nice balcony. We loved the shows, the rock show was very fun. Again only frustrating items was they had a Mexican fiesta night half way through the stay which was 20$ US each person and replaced the free show. It would have been nice if there was a free option that day as well. My niece was disappointed to not have the chance to see a show that evening. The entertainment team is very funny and they do a great job. We got a kick out of “Carlos Chang” and thought Hector was hilarious. The kids club is also really good they have little shows with the kids in them and tons of crafts and activities. Overall would highly recommend the hotel!

I'm so disappointed about this hotel. I was really excited to met my friends there and enjoy the wedding that we were waiting for a year. Sadly the people there make everything difficult I want to think is because the policies in the hotel are very strict. And also I found very bad attention from some workers, instead to find a solution for our necesities they just ignore u, for example in the restaurant we were asking for drinks and one of the women reply: :I don't serve drinks" in a really rude mood how can I know that it wasn't her job? Instead of it she could say, "just a moment my partner will help you soon", and for sure she doesn't help us in anything. Each time that I visit the the lobby I hear people complaining. I guess I'm not the only one who was so disappointed with the bad service. I won't never come back and of course I won't recommend it with my friends. The only good things were the cleaning and a few people from the staff who were friendly and polite. The rest of the other were rude and didn't show any interest for help us.

Wonderful hotel! It is our third time here, and we have really enjoyed our stay. Staff is very attentive to everything, beach very kid-friendly and food is very good. I loved the nightly shows, entertainment team really excellent, especially the "Magic show", just incredible. So, great place for a family vacation!

We were originally meant to be visiting another hotel but due to the Thomas cook collapse we had to re book and are so glad that we did. The hotel is beautiful the pictures really do not do it justice. The staff cannot do enough for you we were offered welcome drinks on arrival. The rooms are big with fantastic air con. There is a selection of pools and a jacuzzi pool also which we loved. The hotel is full of wildlife iguanas and raccoons which we loved. The food is the best that we have had abroad and the specialty restaurants are fantastic especially the Brazilian that was our favourite. We went to the Mexican fiesta night on a Thursday I would highly recommend it’s got candy floss, tequila shots carnival games music dancing and fireworks. Our favourite rep by far is Luisa she went above and beyond to get us involved and make us feel welcome. Always full of smiles and energy. We would definitely come back such a lovely hotel with lovely people.

Surprised at some of the negative reviews. This was our 4th Mexican resport and by far the best. Location is a bit isolated from Tulum and Playa del Carmen but we knew that going in. Collectivo buses...
