O café da manhacom poucas opções e funcionáriosmal treinados e atrapalhados no atendimento. Fila de espera para tomar cafe.Nunca vi isso!! O banho e pia estavam entupidos. Atendimento em geral pouco cordial para um hotel cinco estrelas

Hotel muito confortável num edificio antigo de grande beleza. Quartos muito confortáveis. Bela sala de pequeno Almoço a lembrar os cafés da decada de 30século passado. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Staff Super atencioso. Super cordeal. Um excelente acolhimento escocês.Recomendo!

Just the most beautiful hotel. We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary (and got engaged 😍) and were on the 7th floor and the views over the city were incredible, so romantic. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and bed extremely comfortable. Can not fault any part of this hotel or the area. Just perfect. We look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful hotel in sensational location. Great front desk and concierge, excellent restaurant service but dreadful food. Ate dinner one night and have decided to try alternative venues for the balance of our stay. An exceptionally excellent waiter, Oliver tried his very best to overcome the incredibly awful food, even organising removal of the cost from our account but for us it was the chefs fault and even a half decent cook would have been ashamed to have offered up such poor quality fare, worse still he's still on duty each night!!! We'd definitely stay here again, but won't give the restaurant a second chance.

Stayed at The George this summer. By far our favorite hotel in Edinburgh. Perfect location. Elegant, but not stuffy. You might find service and staff as good, but you will not find any better. As soon as you approach the front desk to check in they know you by name and don't forget it the rest of your stay such as when you call a cab, grab a drink in the bar, etc. The hotel staff makes you feel special. This hotel truly understands the service industry.

Great rooms, lovely view of the church, really clean. The only problems we had were at breakfast where the waiters forgot our fried eggs, we waited for 30 min, they didn't show up. The Benedict eggs were cold as we also had to wait 20-30 minutes for them. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I have stayed at The George quite a few times and am always happy. This time the visit started before I even arrived. The concierge staff stepped in one month before my arrival and booked all of my dinner reservations. The restaurants were all amazing and I wouldn’t have done better myself. Of course they continue to be attentive during the entire trip. Scot and his concierge team know you by name and if it’s ordering you a taxi or finding you a barber, they step up. On this visit I had to move rooms twice. No fault of the hotel for the moves. First time was some other bad guests. Greg one of the managers and his team moved me to a nice quiet top tier room. The second time was a plumbing issue that surfaced. This time Tomas another amazing manager, stepped up to relocate me. He gave me another fantastic room. He also had a Gin and Tonic sent to my room. He truly went above and beyond. I return to the hotel in three weeks and Tomas was sure to make it so I have a great room on my return. The staff at the hotel are amazing and even if things don’t go 100% perfect these people make the stay amazing and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I consider it to be the best hotel in Edinburgh. Plus the sheets and pillows are amazing. Thanks for everything! Steve D.

The George was the perfect location & luxurious as well. We were upgraded to 7th floor view room, gorgeous panoramic view. The room was super clean & quiet, decor extra plush, loved the breakfast food quality and selection. We ended every evening in the Printing Press for snack or cocktail. We spent most of our time up the hill on Castle Hill or beyond for Military Tattoo, Fringe and meals though. It's a good walk uphill, good for working off the nice meals & drinks. Staff were very friendly and responsive; super nice when we had an a/c issue.

Gorgeous hotel. Staff were lovely except they seemed unable to have empathy for a lack of heat in the room. Hospitality needs to be more than a smile. Tried to tough it out under the covers then called down. “We can send a heater if you want.” If we want…? Yeah. Want something. Thanks. Weak space heater. Next day they said the room heat was fixed. Not fixed. Moved rooms. Very comfy. At checkout they asked about our stay and I mentioned the poor response to the lack of heat. Just said, “Oh” and moved on. I brought it back and asked if this is just how they do things. “I can get a manager if you want.”

Hotel en la zona centro de la ciudad. Habitaciones muy acogedoras, confortables y limpias. Algo complicada la distribución del hotel, pasillos del mismo por lo que te puedes perder antes de encontrar la habitación, pero así y todo aconsejable.
