Spent the night here before flying out the next morning. Nice to be located directly in the terminal - keep in mind that it's a bit of walk if your flying out domestically. Staff were great, loved the local food and the rooms are modern and clean. Had a runway view and was not bothered by the sound of the planes. Glad to see that Farimont is still leaving the welcome amenity despite the ACCOR merger. But more of a cost but much easier than a hot that requires a shuttle.

Excellent service and airport views. A bit pricey and portions for breakfast were a bit on the small side. Would go back for dinner.

One of the best airport hotel in Vancouver. The main advantage is that You don't have to leave the airport terminal. Even though they're a little expensive compared to the other hotels nearby its worth the money and access. Especially if you're coming from a long haul flight and you're connecting flight is on next this is the perfect spot. Rooms are clean and cosy. With excellent staff hospitality and professionalism.

Just book now. The Fairmont YVR is exceptional -- and not to be missed! From common areas to rooms to the restaurant, management has created a cohesive atmosphere that is refined but natural, spacious but cozy, and peaceful but spirited. We booked our room in advance by phone then checked in in-person; we also ordered room service and had afternoon tea at the Globe. Every team member we encountered offered consistent, high-level service that was genuinely friendly and personalized. We were celebrating an anniversary, so it was a treat to receive congratulations and goodwill from many staff. We enjoyed a luxurious room, a spectacular view, amazing customer service, well-presented food with high-quality ingredients, and an incredibly quiet and comfortable sleep. This hotel strictly adheres to public health orders and protocols for hygiene. Not once did we have any concern about sanitation or safety. The Fairmont YVR offers outstanding value in a unique and vibrant location. Without hesitation, we recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon! This hotel is great! Staff is so so friendly and polite. Felt super safe even with current times. Ate at their restaurant and I had an absolutely amazing server who definitely made the experience that much more enjoyable. John turned a moment into a memory for me for sure. Im excited for my stay upon return to BC.

Outstanding hotel with a great location to stay while in transit.Very elegant and spacious.The food in the restaurant was excellent, especially the oysters ! Excellent selection of wines for pairing.Sound proofing in the room was terrific. All in all a great stay.
