La razón principal por la que escogimos este hotel es que te permiten llevar a tu mascota (un perro de no más de 30kg y con un coste de 50€ por noche). Nos ofrecieron una cama y un bowl para el perro, que rechazamos por llevar los nuestros, aunque los 50€ los sigues pagando por el mero alojamiento del animal.La mascarilla es de uso obligatorio en el hotel. El personal la lleva de manera ejemplar. Los huéspedes, el 60% aproximadamente. Sobre todo son los jóvenes, los de siempre en esta pandemia, los que incumplen y no la llevan ni siquiera en espacios cerrados sin distancia (ascensores, pasillos del hotel, etc.)La primera noche cenamos en el Lago Lounge del hotel. Buena calidad de comida (la pizza digna de los mejores restaurantes italianos). Lo peor, pagar 8€ por una botella de agua Aqua Panna de 75cl, sientes que se aprovechan de ti. No te ofrecen ninguna opción más económica.El desayuno es un market asistido. La calidad es alta y el personal amable. El problema son las avispas, presentes en la terraza del desayuno y que hacen de éste una experiencia frustrante e incómoda. Estas avispas están también en la zona de cesped de las hamacas. Algo peligroso y que no entiendo cómo este hotel no hace nada para solucionarlo. Parece un mal endémico de la zona pero se agradecerían más medidas. Acabamos desayunando en el interior del restaurante Louro los últimos días para estar más tranquilos.La piscina para adultos Sereno, que denominan “tranquility”, y que fue otra de las razones por la que escogimos el hotel, la mayoría de los días ni es tranquila ni es silenciosa. Al contrario de lo que anuncian en su web y en la documentación que entregan al llegar al hotel (ver foto adjunta) suele estar llena de padres con niños nadando a crawl haciendo carreras, niños pequeños jugando con una pelota, padres con bebés enseñándoles a nadar, o simplemente niñas pequeñas solas en las hamacas que no paran de hablar casi a gritos. Decepcionante y frustrante a la vez. Si buscas una piscina tranquila, este no es tu hotel. La parte positiva es que al llegar a las hamacas te dan un cubo con hielo y dos botellas de agua Vitalis de 0.5L sin coste. Eso sí, en plena ola de calor a 37º, pedimos dos botellas más y nos indicaron que debíamos pagar 3€ por botella adicional. De nuevo decepcionado como miembro Diamond.La política del hotel es que el perro no puede estar en ningún área del hotel. Del lobby a la habitación y viceversa. No puede pisar restaurantes, terrazas, etc. Es una pena porque es mucho más silencioso que algunos niños británicos gritando en la piscina “tranquility”. Esto nos obligaba a salir del hotel a la hora pactada para que hiciesen la habitación (el perro no puede estar en la habitación mientras limpian) y nos hizo descubrir el centro comercial Quinta Shopping, donde hay varios restaurantes. El mejor sin duda es “The Cheeky Pup”, un pub irlandés con buena comida y mejor bebida, donde admiten perros en el interior y la terraza. Trato genial y precios correctos para comida de buena calidad. Acabamos comiendo todos los días allí y disfrutamos un montón.Lo malo es que, al volver después de comer a la piscina, no suele haber hamacas libres. De nuevo clientes maleducados que no volverán en muchas horas pero dejan “reservadas” las hamacas con un libro, un bote de crema, una bolsa o unas toallas a medio colocar. Esto no es culpa del hotel, sino de la mala educación de clientes que piensan que por tener dinero pueden tener derecho a todo lo demás. Cuando preguntas por hamacas libres, el personal te deriva amablemente al cesped, que recordemos está lleno de avispas. Tampoco puedes dormir la siesta porque la mayoría de los días hay adolescentes gritando o jugando en la piscina “tranquility” así que mejor descansar en la habitación y bajar sobre las 5 de la tarde que seguramente quede alguna tumbona libre.

We have stayed 3 times and each stay has been pure luxury. The 1st time the bartender had a mixologist class (30 min) on sexy cocktails that we learned to make & then enjoyed by the pool. We spent the whole day in the spa. Massage was phenomenal, steam & sauna & jacuzzi - what else is better in life- oh the warm stone lounger that melts your worries away! One of the stays was Valentine’s Day & they spoiled us with delicious & gorgeous chocolates in our room. Loved the yoga class we had. The staff are gracious & kind.

Very pleasant. Comfortable room, great location, nice pool. But definitely not 5*. Food and bev in particular underwhelmed. Style of the place feels a little dated. Overall a little more Dubai than Europe.
I stayed on points, and felt I got a good value. But I cannot fathom spending EUR 700, which is what the paid rate was during August. So many better options for that price.

Our 2nd time at the Conrad. And let me start by saying that we like the place (after all we went back) But after staying at another hotel further down the coast, the Conrad is not our favorite place in the Algarve anymore. The rooms are not as comfortable as they could be - 1) they are noisy (you can hear someone casually walking down the corridor, never mind kids or cleaners) - and 2) they are not properly light proof. As a light sleeper, these two things have a material impact on the quality of my sleep (or thereof lack of) and my ability to relax. These would not be an issue for most people so onto the positives: the hotel has sophisticated look to it, service is excellent and people really friendly. The food is excellent and the hotel is ideally located. So depending on what you are looking for, this might the ideal spot for your vacations.

Whether you fancy a long weekend break or a holiday - Conrad on Algarve coast is THE place to stay! We have had the most amazing stay there and we promised ourselves to revisit the place again in September, hoping that they will have spaces available. The staff, the food, housekeeping, ambiance, setting - everything was top notch - there was nothing that they could not cater for, and every whim was met with a smile and friendly service. You are so relaxed and happy in that place that you never want to leave. Well, I certainly didn't... ;)

Wow what a beautiful hotel. I didn’t want to leave the property during our stay. We were upgraded to a nicer room and given free breakfast for having diamond status with hilton. The room was large with a nice double sink bathroom. There was a separate tub and shower. The room also had a huge balcony with three couches and a massive ottoman. We spent a lot of time relaxing and drinking wine on the balcony. The pool was absolutely amazing and the water temperature was perfect. The second we chose our loungers, someone came running to set up our umbrellas and bring us bottled water and towels. I am not used to such amazing treatment and it really makes guests feel appreciated. The breakfast buffet was also amazing with great service, the waiter got everything from the buffet spread for us. The smoked salmon, the fruit and the tapioca pudding were perfect. My only complaint would be they didn’t warn us they were closing the buffet, so I couldn’t get more food, apart from that everything was perfect. I will not forget about our amazing stay at the conrad and will recommend it to anyone looking to pamper themselves.

I came with my girlfriend to stay for two days. Although our stay was free, since we had a voucher to exchange, the hotel staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was quite good, with all the requirements (and then some!) of a five-star hotel. The room is cleaned, at a minimum, twice a day. The bathroom has a built-in TV, which doesn't exist in all 5* hotels. It was faulty when we arrived, but promptly replaced by the hotel staff within minutes. The bed is large and comfortable enough, the mini-bar has a wide variety of options and the TV has a large number of channels available.
You can take advantage of the inner pool at any time, which also includes the jacuzzi.
The hotel has two restaurants, with one having a Michelin star (which I didn't visit). The other one provides good meals, with a complementary amuse-bouche, although the prices are a bit high.
Regardless, I highly recommend the stay at this hotel, for both the quality of service and friendly staff.

Hotel is absolutely lavish, from the moment you arrive. The scale of the property and building is massive. It's an impressive location to behold. Staff are courteous, very attentive, very knowledgeable, and on top of everything. It's a proper high-end atmosphere. Gorgeous rooms and grounds.
