“This hotel went above and beyond for my family. I screwed up and showed up for my reservation a day EARLY and they let us check in anyway, and gave us a room upgrade! The pool and hot tub is amazing. The location in whistler village is amazing. The free hot chocolate and cookie decorating was a huge hit with our kids. We LOVED our stay at the Westin Whistler and would stay there again in a heartbeat!”

“After several years of visiting Whistler, we decided to try a new hotel. From the exterior, the place looked amazing. I am sure in the off season, it’s worth an off season rate. When paying $1500 a night for hotel over Family Day weekend - the leaders of the hotel should step up, lead and deliver. The leaders here failed us with overbooking and under staffing. While several associates (Hamilton at the front desk) were amazing. His leader (“G.....”) hid in the back office making himself unavailable to assist. Our room actually had holes and tears in the bathroom towels. Dishes in the dishwasher from a previous guest and dirt/rocks on the floor. We tipped the room steward on the first night and left a note in hopes for a little spiff up, no luck. As a loyal Marriott guest, I’m so disturbed at how this place ever achieved 4.4 stars. Either likely all a recent failure or they have found another way to promote their business. On a positive note, Ski Valet and the CAN SKI team was awesome.”
