      The Tagbilaran City Tourist Pier handles more than 4,000 travelers on a daily basis. Nine daily ship calls from [wiki=697221771a96b2e73bc8faac367930cc]Cebu City[/wiki] are processed efficiently, with other ships from [wiki=b07c844628c2a9ec3593f4ff4b4f1ec1]Manila[/wiki], [wiki=2b97bdfb85934ca809a288887ec80811]Cagayan de Oro City[/wiki], [wiki=43e7799be1c6577824bae54e3a1c619a]Dumaguete[/wiki], [wiki=a9a895c58480e581aff7cea43b5c4b5b]Dipolog[/wiki], [wiki=785620d2d9b4f18a77d8c9330fc542ab]Iligan City[/wiki], [wiki=852cced8607c524e1d00e06153a536b3]Larena[/wiki], [wiki=a4a5c3e32e9ad43741a40733f8e00222]Plaridel[/wiki] and [wiki=5d317dad80d8d1a5c242ae672844ab93]Ozamiz City[/wiki] also welcomed on a regular basis.       Sunday ferries from Tagbilaran to Cebu are often fully booked, so book ahead or use the port in Tubigon if leaving on a Sunday.

      Tagbilaran is about an hour away by direct bus from Tubigon, port city with ferries going to Cebu. Jagna is also approximately an hours bus away, and has a daily direct ferry to [wiki=3240f19ae79c6e1a694ea21a620e6e86]Balingoan[/wiki] on the island of [wiki=d4cd2ac35a6759f00c0a47e4881a865c]Mindanao[/wiki].

      Buses and Jeepneys also regularly travel between Tagbilaran and the other towns on Bohol.

      ==== Taxi ====
      There are very limited taxis in downtown, most are found at Tagbilaran pier and airport. You can hire a taxi for a full day for under $35.

      ==== Tricycle ====
      Tagbilaran has plenty of tricycles that can take you around. A trip from downtown to Dao bus terminal is about P30. Shorter rides within the city are P8 per person.

      ==== Jeepney ====
      Jeepneys to Panglao Island can be taken from the Jeepney terminal or by the National Museum opposite St. Joseph Cathedral. Fare to Alona Beach is P25.

      ==== Bus ====
      There are various small bus terminals scattered around town. Long distance busses are in Dao terminal, quite far from downtown. Small express busses can take you from downtown to Dao bus terminal for P8. From Dao there are busses to Loboc, Loboc Tarsier foundation, Carmen, Chocolate Hills, Tubigon and other places of interest in Bohol.

      Tableya - Made from pure cacao. Tableya is one of Bohol's pasalubong.Chocolate drink called sekwati is made from tableya.
