      From Beirut take bus No. 6 which starts from Cola, costs 1500 LBP and takes you to the beginning of the Jounieh central main street. Alternatively you can take any bus from Dora that goes up north to Byblos or Tripolis and get off on the highway (tell the driver to drop you in Jounieh). Walking about 1 km downhill to the sea should take you to the town center.

      However, the must visit attraction is the telefreq and the Harissa above. The telefreq (ropeway) entrance looks more like a shopping complex and charges 9000 LBP per person for both directions on a week day. The view from the top during your ascend is breathtaking and view from the statue of Lady of Lebanon is a visual treat. There are some cafes above in Harissa.
