      From [wiki=8567d06b436c06938d4d20225c9ea85c]Beirut's[/wiki] Cola area buses leave every 10 to 15 minutes to the Chouf town of Boq'ata (sign الكولا - شوف in the windscreen). The fare is LL 4000 as of June 2015. Tell the bus driver you want to go to Beiteddine and they will drop you off at a roundabout. From there you can walk about 2 km downhill taking the road that leaves the roundabout on your left and which makes a pleasant walk. Sometimes there are taxis waiting for visitors and you should be able to get one for a LL 2000 per person ("service").

      On the way down you can visit the beautiful Mir Amine Palace. It was build for one of Fakhreddine's sons and overlooks Beiteddine Palace. Today it houses a hotel with restaurant and café. Follow the sign pointing to the right about hundred meters after the roundabout. Even if you're not interested in visiting this palace it is recommended to take this route as it is nicer than the other one and virtually car-free.
