      Trpanj is a small town on the north coast of the Peljesac Peninsula in Southern Croatia. It's a mixture of an old village of fishermen, an alpine village and a small but typical touristic mediterranean place. Especially the area around Faraon hotel is a real party zone.

      If you come from the North, there is a ferry to Trpanj coming from Ploce. Coming from South, you can either take the ferry or you take the road to Orébic. If you don't travel by car you take the ferry or go by bus from/to Orébic. In summertime, there should be a bus between Orébic and Trpanj three times a day. In Trpanj there is one taxi working.

      In Trpanj, there is a very big hotel close to the port (hotel Faraon), an official camping area and there are also some very nice people who rent good and clean apartments all over the village. But there are also accomodations which are not registered and do not pay taxes. (As everywhere in Croatia and Europe, you are supposed to register as a tourist. Your host will take your passport and pay some tourist tax for you so that local infrastructure can be maintained.) One of the not registered places is the summer paradise apartment.
