Trains arrive in the lower town with buses leaving hourly for the upper town and spas.
Buses run up the valley into Leukerbad about every 15 minutes. The roads are very windy. Not recommended for those that get motion sick.
While not necessary a rental car makes it easy to get around to the many close trams and trains to the high alps. Resorts in Leukerbad have private parking with pay parking in town fairly limited. The drive up from the valley is beautiful and the windy roads are fun.

There are several spas, ranging from the public Burgerbad to private spas in the big hotels.
