What a truly breath taking experience! Live music in the bar nightly. Rooms were clean and fresh. Staff was very kind with good English! The gardens out back were a nice treat. Breakfast was good... a bit pricey in comparison to other places around town. Expect to spend about 3x. I would recommend going around town a bit in a horse buggy! Get our and experience all that luxor has to offer!

This is a beautiful historic hotel with views of the Nile and Valley of the Kings. The garden views are equally as nice. Rooms were spacious and decorated well. Shops and monuments are just steps away. The restaurants on site offer good food with reasonable prices.

Luxurious hotel with high quality staff I enjoyed its old royal style, both Nile view and historical garden view. All staff are professionals and know to manage your needs instantly specially la Corniche hotel where you get your breakfast daily under Supervisor of Mr.Mahmoud Ibrahim he is very decent and successful image for your staff. Highly recommend

By far, this is the greatest hotel in luxor. A massive building from the royal era with breathtaking decorations and antiques. Everything about this palace is magnificent. The staircase is from a movie or something. The rooms are wide, the curtains are beautiful, and the balconies are viewing the great Nile. The garden is so beautiful filled with thousands of different plants, roses. The chairs, the beds, the carpets, the chandeliers, the restaurant, and everything else is just amazing. The crew are so friendly and professional, and the atmosphere there makes you feel like you want to stay there forever. A spectacular stay I’ve had there.

This hotel has probably the most amazing garden in Egypt. But I have a big appeal to the management. Guys, please free all caged birds in the garden. We live in the 21st century. Nobody enjoys caged animals anymore. There are enough free birds living and singing in your beautiful garden. This cage in the midst of the garden looks like a prison in paradise. I hope that you will listen to your hearts and give freedom to those amazing creatures. Thank you for our great stay and your incredible hospitality.

Our favourite hotel in the whole Egype trip! The service, environment, breakfast, atmosphere are just unbeatable. My husband even got a hair cut in the salon. The AC in the reading room could be in slightly higher temperature. But that’s it. I wish I could go back again.

This is another place. The Nile flows past. The hotel has an old world charm of a bygone gracious era. The furnishing, the art, the books piled in tables ... it looks like a home, not a hotel. We just went for tea, but we're lucky to be allowed to walk around. The palace of King Farouk, this place is a walk through an age gone by.

The Winter Palace is exactly as the name suggests... A Palace... With its beauty and charm it is definitely a must if you are visiting Luxor. The bedroom we had was overlooking the Nile, great view and the room absolutely spotlessly clean. The breakfast and then room service for our dinner looking out from the balcony, across the Nile to the Valley of the Kings. The rooms are spacious and the cleanliness to an exceptional standard, with every detail catered for.

I finally achieved my dream & stayed here, even if it was only for 2 nights. I first read about it as a teenager but it took until I had retired to make it! I could go on, but the main attraction after the building & it's location, is the staff. Nothing is too much bother. The young ladies in Guest Relations responded cheerfully & politely to my various odd questions & are a credit to the team.
