We stayed here for 5 nights and the staff were very attentive. This hotel was nice and near the beach and shops. The best part was the food! They had different types of food every night and the chefs were amazing! They went out of their way to prepare great food! Ficamos aqui por 5 noites e os funcionários foram muito atenciosos. Este hotel era bom e perto da praia e lojas. A melhor parte foi a comida! Eles tinham diferentes tipos de comida todas as noites e os chefs foram incríveis! Eles saíram do seu caminho para preparar comida excelente!

Resort lindo , com quartos amplo e confortável.Decoração do hotel muito bonita, . O café da manhã deixa a desejar para um resort desse nível.Os atendentes em geral são prestativos e simpáticos, mas são mal treinados,não conseguem entender o pedido ala carta.A comida em geral e boa e tem ótima apresentação.o hotelFica em uma localização bacana.Afastado da praia, tendo que caminhar 3 quadras.O 4 piso do hotel tem uma piscina linda e um bar aberto até as23h. Academia um pouco pequena.

Excelente localização, atendimento nota 11, funcionários cordiais, quarto espaçoso , café da manhã espetacular !!!Voltei em abril 2019 Excelente lugar para quem quer conforto e comodidade, um hotel com poucos apartamentos, atendimento maravilhoso , quartos amplos e espaçosos . Com sistema de all inclusive , pode desfrutar de comida japonesa na piscina, um bar com variados drinks e bebidas, fácil acesso a varios restaurantes próximos , enfim MARAVILHOSO!!! MInha segunda vez e pretendo voltar varias vezesI came back on April 24 2019 Excellent place for those who want comfort and convenience, a hotel with few apartments, wonderful service, large and spacious rooms.With all inclusive system, you can enjoy Japanese food in the pool, a bar with drinks and drinks, easy access to several restaurants nearby, at last WONDERFUL !!!My second time and I want to go back several times.

Well the food is OK ! And this place NOT A RESORT !!!!!! It’s just a hotel with roof top pool simple is that! This HOTEL for who wants to walk in the city only ! My advice if you interesting to walk the city just book a hotel for sleeping ONLY and you can eat & drink outside! It’s very cheap and you save a lot of $ too !

Lindo lugar pero mala experiencia. fui para pasar una tarde de piscina y cocktails, cuando llegas no hay nadie en recepción, no hay seguridad. Subimos al roof top buscando pagar nuestro daypass como se acostumbra normalmente en un hotel en el que quieres pasar la tarde, llegando a la terraza un mesero nos dijo que no teníamos que pagar nada que éramos bienvenidos para disfrutar del lugar, pedimos nuestros tragos y comida nos acomodamos en una cama todo perfecto, 15 mis después que pedimos y nos acomodamos otro mesero se acerca para decirnos que debemos pagar 700 por la piscina ycama!! Publicidad engañosa, personas deshonestas que solo buscan tu consumo.

Excelente hotel una de las más cómodas amplias y bellas habitaciones. Un roof increíble muy al estilo vintage. Bebidas y alimentos de alta calidad. Lo que en verdad hace la diferencia es el servicio, simplemente excelente atentos en todos los sentidos. Amenidades de excelente calidad. Los detalles en las habitaciones así como en restaurant hacen de este hotel uno de los mejores en los que eh estado. Sin duda muy recomendable.

Excelente ubicación. Personal muy amable, muy dispuestos a atenderte.El frijol negro serían los lugares destinados al horario de comida. El Bar y Tapas & Sushi. Muy poco lugar dónde sentarte ylo que órdenes de comer tomalo con calma porqué se va a tardar. Muy permisivos con los turistas extranjeros a violar reglamentos.

Muy bien (fuimos all inclusive). La comida increíble (el new york y el salmón extraordinarios), bebidas muy bien (hay etiqueta negra, mezcal unión, amaretto disarono, hennessey VS, bombay, tanqueray, absolut, etc). Las habitaciones muy bien (impecables, regadera maravillosa, cama muy cómoda, bonitas), room service sin costo 24/7. La alberca muy a gusto. La música es tranquila y muy buena (nada de electrónica). La barra de jugos y smoothies en el desayuno muy buena y Francisco excelente. A dos cuadras de la playa.En cuanto al servicio, en recepción son buenos. En el roof, en la mañana es malo el servicio. Christian es muy bueno y servicial, mientras que su peor elemento es Frank, quien no es nada servicial, es grosero y déspota. El gerente es atento pero no pone especial interés en que su gente haga las cosas como debe. Por la tarde es bastante mejor. Carolina es muy servicial y amable.Al estar situado justo en la quinta avenida es ruidoso en la noche. Además, en nuestra habitación (me dicen que es bastante común) el compartimiento donde está la máquina del aire acondicionado fue sumamente ruidosa. Se prende unos minutos a cualquier hora y no permite dormir nada bien. Nos enteramos al irnos que podían drenarla y bajaba el ruido, aunque eso debería ser parte de su rutina de mantenimiento preventivo para evitar esta gran molestia.

En general personal amable; eso sí; poco personal por lo tanto no muy buen servicio. La comida alguna buena y otra muy mala. Lo que esta terrible es que los vendedores estén casando huéspedes en el lobby del hotel; estás de vacaciones; De verdad es necesario? Habría que mejorar la estrategia de venta; para no hostigar a los huéspedes.

Really enjoyed staying here with my family (all adults). Our concierge, Xini, was super friendly and nice. The rooftop pool is amazing, along with food and drinks they provide. The location is also great, so you can enjoy the night life without taking any taxi. We would love to come back!

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The rooms are amazing--big comfy beds, amazing shower, lots of space, and a balcony. The food and drinks are all included and are very good. My favorite part is the rooftop pool and lounge area, which really helps you take in the beauty of the surrounding areas. It's also in a very convenient area near all the restaurants and attractions. If I ever find myself back, I will definitely return to Aqua!

Great place.The bar and pool staff were awesome (Fernando, Pedro, Angle and many others) and did a great job taking care of us at the pool. The food was amazing.The dining staff were very attentive and gave us great service.Rooms were newer and clean.The pool beds were comfy.Live Aqua is a relaxing resort; no crowds, no long lines. The location is great, short walk to the ocean and right on 5th ave.My wife liked the yoga in the morning and the fitness center.We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for another relaxing trip in the future.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Live Aqua Boutique for five nights and we had an amazing time. All of the staff treated us like family and remembered our names from day one. Tony, the concierge, was extremely helpful in arranging excursions and always checked in with us to make sure we were having the best experience possible. The food was amazing and always came in a timely matter. The resort itself was very clean, beautiful, and made for a great intimate getaway. The resort being right on 5th Ave made it very easy to see and do a lot in Playa Del Carmen. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Me and my girlfriend stayed at live aqua for 5 night from Jan 13-18th. We had a great time and we treated like family by the staff. When we arrived after a long day of traveling we were greeted with water bottles and cool towels on our necks and victor grabbed our bags and got them ready for our room(victor is awesome). Tony our concierge went out of his way to help us anytime we needed and was always friendly when we saw him daily. Frank was the best server and always had us smiling and our drinks and food on time. Anytime we were interacting with staff was a great time with lots of laugh. The food is amazing and we were always pleased with our meals. 24hr room service is always a bonus. The resort is beautiful the pool and lobby are very picturesque to say the least! I would highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for a boutique and very intimate experience in downtown playa. We will return here hopefully sooner than later and I’ve already recommended them to multiple friends and family.

Very relaxing day spent here. We were able to get a day pass which all the food and beverages we purchased was applied to. Large infinity roof top pool and expansive pool area with beds, lounge chairs, bar, bar area, and various seating clusters. No crowd at all. For me the music was a tad loud given the spa like feel of the establishment. Nice views of the city and ocean. Waitstaff was slow and not attentive. The food was good; the drinks were decent and they have top brands as their house liquors.

Wonderful Boutique resort. It never feels crowded. The staff is so friendly . . .they go out of there way to accommodate any request. The food was wonderful - the taste and presentation was very well done. Good drinks. Enjoyed the location . . right on 5th street, yet also on the edge of activity so it is easy to get away from everything to go on a nice walk.

I recently stayed at Live Aqua and came up with the following pros and cons list based on my stay: Pros: - El mural had amazing food and a variety of choices - Room service is 24/7 and included in cost - Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms were very spacious and clean - Staff went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience - Poolside drinks were delicious and made quickly - Very close to the beach - Very safe neighborhood. I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler Cons: - Some of the room service dishes were quite bland (guacamole, nachos, fajitas) - The glasses at the upstairs bar are very old looking and do not make for nice pictures by the pool - The air conditioning kept not working. Although a repairman was able to briefly fix it each time it went down Despite the cons I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend Live Aqua to friends and family.

One word: AWESOME!!! This place was amazing. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent and we can't wait to go back. This was our first time visiting Mexico and our stay at Live Aqua made us certain to return. We have no reason to stay anywhere else! The rooftop bar and pool made our lazy days fantastic. We watched beautiful sunrises from our balcony. I could go on and on about this beautiful experience but suffice it to say that we didn't want to leave.

The place was beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, with the beds and shower as my highlight. I find the workers were friendly, sometimes TOO friendly that they made fun of their guests. But as with the rest of the comments, the food service was SLOW especially as an all-inclusive resort. It would take them at least half an hour to bring your food and on several occasions, there was not enough of what you ordered.

Las instalaciones están bien, pero el servicio es PÉSIMO. Únicamente tienen dos restaurantes para todo el hotel y en las noches cierra uno entonces sólo hay un restaurante para cenar. Les hace falta personal ya que no cumplen con la demanda que tienen. Los platillos llegan a tardar hasta 40 minutos. En más de una ocasión me tocó pararme a mi para servirme un simple vaso de agua o tomar servilletas. Esto no sólo me pasó a mi, en más de una ocasión vi a otros clientes hacer lo mismo.
