“Nice trendy boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Baltimore, a couple of blocks from the Orioles home stadium, Camden Yards. Unfortunately, it's in a very bad part of town. The hotel doesn't have any parking so your only option is to park in one of the public garages around the block and hope your car is still there when you get back. The rooms are nice albeit a bit dark and lacking amenities. Although the website says check in is at 2pm, it can take an extra hour before they get you set up with your room. Not really sure why that is the case. We reserved a room for 4 people but there were only 2 bottles of water and one paper cup for the Keurig-like single serving coffee machine in the room. Not even a spoon to stir your coffee. The TV was disconnected behind the wall mount and it took us awhile to figure out how to get it going. The room doesn't have a safe for your personal items. So if you're travelling with extra cash, passports, etc...you'll need to figure something out. This is not a good hotel for families. There's really nothing to do here. No pool, no activities. There is a gym and some sort of bar in the lobby but doesn't seem to be working. Also, again, you're in a bad part of town so you probably don't want to take an evening stroll to check out the nightlife. There is a guard at the door though but he seemed to be more interested in his phone than watching who is entering or exiting the building. The lobby seems to be an evening hangout for the locals off the street. Overall, I would not really recommend this hotel unless you're travelling alone for business and just need a place to crash. There are far better options in Baltimore for families.”
