“This review is long overdue. I am an avid traveler and traveled to Costa Rica for vacation for the first time. I selected this hotel because of the location and reviews. The trip started a little rocky upon check-in but the General Manager, Juan Carlos, and Anna-Marie (?) at the Front Desk turned it around. Juan Carlos and his team went ABOVE and BEYOND. The stay was incredible! We loved the room. It was spacious and overlooked the stadium, the breakfast buffet (which included mimosas) had something for everyone's taste. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional! (The bell staff was. on point every day with a friendly smile and an offer of assistance/directions/recommendations.) Even the Executive Lounge was phenomenal and provided a pleasant reprieve each evening with light food and astounding selection of non-alcohol and alcohol beverages. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone traveling to San Jose. The views, service, food and overall experience certainly makes this hotel a "must stay" for your next trip to San Jose.”
