Pullman is served by the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport (PUW) ]The rural airport in the Palouse region is the primary air link for its two land-grant universities, Washington State University in Pullman and the University of Idaho in Moscow. Both universities use the airport for jet charters from Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Air for their intercollegiate athletic teams. Alaska Airlines[/url is the sole commercial airline serving the airport, flying Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft to Lewiston, ID and [wiki=4c54c163f43d0ac8512df032b3b07bff#By_plane]Seattle[/wiki].

Since there is not much to the downtown area, except for the few blocks around Grand & Main St, transportation is a must. In town public transportation is available from Pullman Transit ,](or this link[/url) though it is often geared around the university schedule. Pullman also has multiple bike trails for summer travel around the town. Pullman may be navigable by bicycle but it is best to have a private automobile to get to Moscow, Colfax, Spokane, Lewiston, and anywhere in the surrounding [wiki=d5d0a8e43d1307b572922da13dd7b240]Palouse[/wiki] countryside. Otherwise the WSU Parking & Transportation Office offers some ideas (bicycles, car rentals) on getting around without a car and can help arrange for carpooling ('Zimride').

Locally Main St (WA-270 going east) divides the streets & addresses "north" from "south" while Grand Ave (WA-27) divides the streets & addresses from "east" and "west". NW Davies is WA-270 going west to US-195 which goes north to Colfax & Spokane and south to Lewiston. The university is a 640 acre campus located east of Main & Grand with "NE" addresses, and consists of a major chunk of town, can't miss it. On campus Stadium Way is the main thoroughfare (or "Main St") through the middle of the campus going north (to Grand Ave north of town) & south (to Main St going out to Moscow) while Grimes Way goes out to the eastern part of the campus from the center.

Greek hangout, lots of interesting "quotes" scribbled all over the place. Good luck finding toilet paper or soap in the bathroom.

    * Cheap drinks and lots of pool tables, beer pong table as well

    - Mike's: Two stories, bottom floor is a pretty poppin' dance club. Drinks are weak and overpriced (usually)

    * A local favorite and often-joke ("Let's meet at 'My Office"), it features cheap beer and food.
