      Farnborough is well served by London's collection of airports. For travellers coming directly to Farnborough, the most convenient (in reducing order of convenience) are:
      *Farnborough Airfield , base of operation of two of the largest private Jet hire companies in the UK
      *Heathrow Airport [url=http://www.baa.co.uk/main/airports/heathrow/]]is about 40 minutes drive down the M4 (westbound) motorway, M25 (anticlockwise) and M3 (westbound).
      *Luton Airport [url=http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/[/url]]is about 50 minutes drive away via the M1 (southbound), M25 (westbound) and M3 (westbound) motorways. Luton Airport Parkway connects the airport to Kings Cross station every 35 minutes, the tube to London Waterloo station and then follow the directions below.
      *Gatwick Airport [http://www.baa.co.uk/main/airports/gatwick/[/url] is about an hours drive away via the M23 (northbound), M25 (clockwise) and M3 (westbound) motorways.

      Farnborough is served by four railway stations:

      * Farnborough Main railway station for London Waterloo, Basingstoke, Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.
      * Farnborough North and North Camp railway station (same line) for Reading, Guildford and London Gatwick Airport.
      * Ash Vale railway station for Camberley, Ascot, Aldershot, Farnham and Alton.

      Farnborough is served by the M3 motorway (US English:freeway) which runs from London to Southampton. It is about an hour's drive from central London. The best junction to use for Farnborough is junction 4 or 4a and then follow the signs.
