Stagecoach Highlands [url=http://www.stagecoachbus.com/highlands/]]operates the 57C and 57A buses through Staffin. Although both of these services start and terminate in [[Portree[/url]], the 57A is the more useful as it travels anti-clockwise around the Trotternish Peninsula, i.e it runs directly from Portree to Staffin before travelling back to Portree via [wiki=316b70de6a15151c610553395cc1dd31]Uig[/wiki] (on the west side). The 57C travels in the opposite direction and takes longer to get to Staffin, however it still makes for an interesting ride.

    • By road

Staffin lies on the A855 road, which runs from Portree to Uig via the east side of the Trotternish Peninsula.

Staffin is spread out, thus it is best to see the area if you have a car. Public transport is infrequent in these parts, and there are no buses on Sundays outwith the peak summer season.

The same way as you got in. Alternatively, head for Uig on the west side of the peninsula and catch the CalMac [url=http://www.calmac.co.uk]]ferry to either [[Lochmaddy[/url]] on [wiki=5a59ea7c93fc89fc4d1ca2aa158227be]North Uist[/wiki] or [wiki=7475ef31f823efd3cc7e95bda33d2aa6]Tarbert[/wiki] on [wiki=d53a0abaa0cbeb339cb02898fa4fbe96]Harris[/wiki].
