Bray is easily accessible by road from [wiki=50fefb5efb085fd11b1a4fd2b6dda0aa]Dublin[/wiki] and South from [wiki=eeaed6a057e297e1a8ed6738660e1d5f]Arklow[/wiki] or [wiki=29b1e48535f0c2008a6c315845bcfd40]Wexford[/wiki]. The N11 links [wiki=50fefb5efb085fd11b1a4fd2b6dda0aa]Dublin[/wiki] city centre with Bray and there are frequent bus services with Dublin Bus, Glendalough Bus, Bus Eireann and Finnegan's Bray. The M50 motorway now connects to Bray allowing easy access to all major cities on the island of Ireland.
From the south, the N11 stretches as far as south County [wiki=29b1e48535f0c2008a6c315845bcfd40]Wexford[/wiki] linking up all major urban areas including [wiki=03d8b348da40208496a260b712c81ccd]Rosslare[/wiki], [wiki=b2db0c4938c3df5b29dca95a67b2027c]Gorey[/wiki], [wiki=29b1e48535f0c2008a6c315845bcfd40]Wexford[/wiki], [wiki=dbcfc83af33c9942315cc18c9923d76d]Enniscorthy[/wiki], [wiki=eeaed6a057e297e1a8ed6738660e1d5f]Arklow[/wiki], [wiki=67ad056b683cf4fa2d91880ceaf68433]Wicklow[/wiki] and [wiki=c32a3d86a157771b6d0dde3e14803a5e]Greystones[/wiki].
To the west, there are many roads which span the [wiki=859ac9df2aa681f17e487072a6941aed]Wicklow Mountains[/wiki] linking up to towns on the far side like [wiki=6af25376bec441cc7a27e6e08a81ea47]Tullow[/wiki], [wiki=5e8c9f97b3b049b558a3c8ff84a11870]Carlow[/wiki] and [wiki=4ed2a5a94470a32a87a57feda71dd8af]Kilkenny[/wiki].
Bray is on the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) Rail Network which stretches north (Via Dublin City Centre) to [wiki=fcd45f49e01a828b6a3bb1dab9681ee9]Malahide[/wiki] and [wiki=2dac6b25663d14f338d4f00efd00f2e3]Howth[/wiki] and south to [wiki=c32a3d86a157771b6d0dde3e14803a5e]Greystones[/wiki]. A ticket to Dublin costs €2.50 one way.
The town is also on the mainline Iarnród Éireann Rail Network which connects north to Connolly Station in [wiki=50fefb5efb085fd11b1a4fd2b6dda0aa]Dublin[/wiki] city centre and further to [wiki=b64531606e235793dabe258347b6883d]Drogheda[/wiki] and [wiki=eb5a2c72d4c8f4bfc792b5da86bbe84a]Dundalk[/wiki]. To the south, the rail line goes through [wiki=eeaed6a057e297e1a8ed6738660e1d5f]Arklow[/wiki], [wiki=b2db0c4938c3df5b29dca95a67b2027c]Gorey[/wiki] and [wiki=03d8b348da40208496a260b712c81ccd]Rosslare[/wiki] Europort.
Home of the author as a child, from 1887-1891. This house is overlooked by a Martello Tower, owned for a time by Bono (lead singer with Irish rock group U2) during the 1980's. It's a 5 minute walk from the town centre.
