      Luis Sazon located two blocks east of the town market is one of the most reasonably priced restaurants offering basic Dominican dishes.

      The ubiquitous Chinese fried chicken restaurant, pica pollo, can be found at the town's central park.

      Street venders around the town market have economical options in the mornings.

      Constanza has significant production of cooler climate crops such as potatoes and strawberries; maybe the best prices in all of the Dominican Republic. Products that are not produced locally or not in abundance are relatively more expensive. Raw milk is amongst the locally abundant products and can be purchased at a bargain.

      Hotel Reyes Rodriguez across from the town market is a cheap option where there is a clientele not dominantly "de paso" but be advised that the hot water is sporadic.
