“Great beachfront resort, the view from our room was beautiful!!!
Amazing staff especially for water aerobics in the morning, volleyball in the pool, they kept us entertained so well that we enjoyed these activities everyday.
Pool and bar closes at 6 daily, but it's still nice to take in the scenery since it's quiet. The bartenders we're great, friendly, tasty drinks, can sometimes be a bit strong.
Massages in the gazebo were great but schedule earlier in the day since it gets really hot.
Steakhouse was the best restaurant there. Buffet has plenty options includes a large variety of fresh juices
Hotel under construction and so there's boards on the floor for some floors. Rooms are dated.
Booking wise, it's difficult to get staff to just confirm the right room.”

Great staff and good food. The grounds are kept beautifully. However, the property looks dated especially the lobby and most guest rooms need repairs. Please inform guests prior to their arrival. No one wants to hear construction going on during their vacations.

I went for my honeymoon in November 2021. The hotel is clean and has great employees. There are some drawbacks that are good to know: if you want a seat at the pool or beach you have to reserve your seats very early in the morning or you won't find a spot anywhere. The restaurants were not amazing and only have 4 options of entrees. The buffet was very good for every meal. If you have a food allergy this is not a resort you want to go to. I am gluten free and only accommodations are bagels and bread only at buffet for breakfast. There was no night time shows except for music which plays till late and echos in between the buildings.
For COVID regulations, you have to wear a mask in common places and at restaurants. They do free antigen tests at the hotel which is nice.
Overall we had a good time but if we came back to Aruba I would pick a different resort.

Can not say enough great things about are stay here. The customer service was top notch especially at the outdoor pool bar. They are extremely polite and answer any questions you have. The Buffett for breakfast and lunch were amazing and had so many options. The room was a little dated but the view was breathtaking. Can’t beat laying in bed and looking out over the Caribbean. The location is top notch. You are footsteps away form multiple restaurants and bars outside of the resort. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be back.

Rules everywhere. Beach chair rules, snorkeling rules, and rude guests,. The view was nice. Do not try the Japanese restaurant, it kills your appetite. The other places were good. It’s hot in the lobby. The beach is nice.

The hotel is under full construction on every floor they start early in the morning approximately 7:30 a.m. the noise starts The first night we were able to take a hot shower now there's only lukewarm showers from then on and today is Thursday and we're here until Saturday check out time . This is an all-inclusive adult only resort The food and all the restaurants are very good The service is very good the assistant general manager of the resort is well informed very friendly and any problem that you are having with your room he will resolve he can't help with the hot water because of the construction so I didn't complain about that.
We may return once the hotel construction is finish it is the beautiful hotel The rooms are beautiful

The location is beautiful and the negative review is because of service and quality of food, hotel, and management. The food can best be described as a high school cafeteria quality. When problems arise management can be condescending at best. There were a few stars such as Sandra a member of the management team but every time she “fixed” something the service around making it better fell short. You’d think this is COVID related however they have 100% staff (true story) with 20% occupancy. (so think of it as having 5x the people to help but 1000x comfort in their job so they don’t try). Things were damaged by hotel staff at check in and it took 5 days for them to get around to fix it. If you didn’t “ask” for towel replenishment they’d take yours away and not bring more. Just very disappointing overall. The Hyatt and Hilton look phenomenal- check their prices out

First of all when we booked our stay we booked at the hotel riu antilles. Because of covid they closed that hotel and put us in the riu palace. Second we also requested a room with a king size bed. My wife said she did not want 2 queens pushed together . Well guess what when we were ready to go to bed we discovered it was 2 beds pushed together. In order for us to get a king we would have to change rooms and not get a view of the ocean. So we stayed in the room. Third, one day it rained and the water was pouring down from the roof into the bathroom. Called the desk and maintenance said that that always happens when it rains. Finally and the most dangerous is that the flooring in the room and walkways and around the pool is made from a very slippery tile. What the floor in the bathroom got wet. My wife slipped in the bathroom and hurt herself.

Do not waste your money here during covid! There’s no room service, no swim up bar, no access to the adults resort, only one restaurant a night, a strict dress code, rude dinner staff and no drinks past sunset. The only snacks available all hours are nachos and old sandwiches. The food is ok and the day time pool staff are the most fun but overall I’m pretty disappointed from expectations to reality. Oh and the director for dinner is not smart. She screwed up our dinner reservations twice. Love Aruba but spend your money elsewhere!

The best hotel in Aruba! This is the 3rd time staying at the hotel and we absolutely love it. If you have a problem with anything be sure to talk to Alfred and other management team as they will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. They are the best!

READ MY REVIEW CAREFULLY - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: If I could give no star I would. BE AWARE: This hotel is NOT going to provide the same services as they advertise. I have been to many all-inclusive, luxury resorts, but this place while they charge you like one, they definitely don't meet the definition of neither all-inclusive, nor luxury. My wife and I paid over $3,300 for our 4 night stay through Travelocity and when we arrived, the room had a horrible musty (moldy and mildew) smell. It was so strong that we immediately went to the front desk, they knew exactly what we were talking about, so they changed our room, only to find that even the second room was the same. It took us a third try to find a room that wasn't as bad. Moving past this issue, there is NO ROOM SERVICE at all. They advertise 24/7 room service but it's untrue. Pool side bar: Closed, 4 out of 5 restaurants, not in service and closed. Long story short, at RIU the only thing similar to an all-inclusive resort, is the hefty $$$$ that you pay. Everything else is equivalent to a cheap motel. Did I mention their so-called entertainment? Oh, it's just a guy playing music videos off YouTube. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book at Riu. Your trip will be full of disappointment and you will regret all the money you paid. My wife and I, tried as hard as we could to ask for a credit/compensation, for this outright FRAUD by Riu and we only realized that Travelocity is providing a platform for Riu to commit this fraud. There is very little customers can do. But I have spoken to the Travelocity, since my booking was through them, and if I am not offered compensation, I will most certainly bring forth a law-suit. It's NOT fair at all.

We were scheduled to be there for 15 nights and we were so disappointed in food, alcohol and upkeep of property that we left after 3rd night. This place Blames EVERYTHING on Covid. The staff was Awesome and did great with what they had to deal with. We moved 3 resorts over and are very happy with our decision! They actually serve all meals here, no buffet. Not bashing anyone just so not for us.

Fantastic resort to rest and recharge. Nice Beach, can snorkel and see some fish. A nice variety of pools. I prefered the more "adult" themed one, which had a fountain that was great for my back. A nice selection of restaurants.

Having spent a week at this hotel, I can honestly say that it is one of the best vacation experience I have had. There are lots of hotels that have a beach, but friendly welcoming staff is what really sets this hotel apart. The food was also quite good. The pool is lovely, and the shows they put on at night are also incredible. Location could not be better, with easy access to shops and restaurants. I fully expect to return to this hotel.

I liked it. Clean, friendly staff, food was as good as buffet standards go. The beach, pool and I rarely ever had to wait for a drink. I was handed a towel card from another RIU location (without noticing) and went to submit it for a new towel and got into an argument with the staff member who did not speak English and could not understand what I was saying. Another staff member had to intervene and explain to the other staff member. I was able to get a towel and was not charged a fee.
