“Location was nice ,however the room and the hallway had very musky smell you could not get away from ,the pool bar is closed and rusting away ,the pool looks like an oversized jacuzzi it only 3 ft deep anywhere and they have a huge parking lot but they nail you with $39 a day fee for it ,definitely not a 4 star Hotel for many reasons.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and service was nothing short of excellent. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. The hotel is located right in the heart of Duvall St which made it very convenient to access everything nearby. We will definitely consider La Concha for a future trip.”

The best quality about this hotel was the location. The room was serviceable but was also small, felt crowded and much of the furniture was not in the best condition. The bathroom was also very small and there was practically no room to breathe in the bathroom. In our room the tv was also not working properly. On top of everything the hotel charged a hidden fee of $43 a night called a destination fee that was not written anywhere before when we booked the hotel. The hotel did have a great location in Key West and a very nice lobby/pool area but for a hotel that is 4 stars and rather pricey I did not leave satisfied and do not recommend booking here.

Nice hotel for its' age. Staff was awesome. Rooms are on the small side, no where to put your clothing, and the bathrooms were tiny. Obviously this is indicative of the age of the hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor next to Duval St.; it was a little noisy at times, Harley riders like to parade up and down Duval St. to look cool.

I use IHG for work travel and was excited to use 2 nights of points for my stay with my fiancee. La Concha is a historic building with lots of cool stories in regards to people it housed, etc.
This hotel just misses the mark in multiple respects. I will try not to review the resort side. With COVID, everything was closed down. I will focus on the only thing that won't change. The room.
We stayed in a 1 King bedroom room on the 4th floor of the back building (west side). We had a view of the parking lot (no big deal!). The room is very dated. Felt as if I jumped into the 80's. There is a way to make the rooms feel cozy in a historic hotel. La Concha is not it. As someone who has stayed at other Crowne Plazas, the only feeling I felt was disappointed. The vents were all rusted and looked dirty. As someone over 6 foot, it was easy to see inside them. Our bathroom was remodeled! But the shower doors were not sealed all the way shut so the water pored into the toilet area and flooded it. The bathrooms do not have a running vent fan to circulate the air. Our refrigerator was making noises all night and kept us up for most of the time.
The only good thing I can say is that I stayed at the historic La Concha. I would not recommend this property to family and friends unless they renovate and refurnish the building.

The location is great, an easy walk to so many of the shops, bars, and restaurants that Key West is known for. If you're willing to overlook a lot of other shortcomings, it's not a bad place. The...
