Savaneta

Wife had her phone stolen from the public restroom ten minutes after arrival. Owner insisted we shouldn't lock the phone immediately as "he might find it anytime". We declined and asked to use his telephone to call Verizon to cancel. While using his phone a text came in that said "I got that SIM card". Prior to leaving, he offered to sell us a new phone he just happened to have on hand. These dudes are shady, stay away from this place.

Arias and his wife was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Inside the compound was very beautiful. My complaints come with the amenities which all seemed to be missing there was no 4pm snacks the refreshments was just water which sometimes will sit in the cooler for days becoming warm water. The WiFi was really spotty and unreliable. The all inclusive breakfast wasn’t really all inclusive you pick from a menu of three things and you cannot go back for seconds. Arias and his wife made sure inquired for the complaints I had but I did not see any changes.

Great place to stay. We had a reservation that was in a cargo container. It was simple but ok for a few days. Pillows and mattress could he better. Resort was nice, but could use some upkeep. Aruba Bob is great, but wasn't used this trip.

I have a hard time understanding all the positive reviews. The place is run down. Our room smelled like mildew. The pool was not clean, but most of all the staff especially the owner, were rude! I would never stay here again. I've been coming to Aruba over 25 years, they are known for their hospitality and friendliness, but this place is NOT a good example of that.

I am ultra late with making this review, but better late than never. I had the pleasure of spending some much needed R & R here, and couldn't have made a better choice. The food was excellent, hospitality excellent and the room decor just enough to make you feel as though you're at a favorite aunt and uncles home.
