I had issues with the cleanliness of the room, housekeeping issues, and with the sound of the in-room ac/heating being extremely loud (similar to a high pitched siren). I was moved to a new room and it worked just fine and was a larger room than the one prior. This is an artsy hotel in a great location, but I don’t think the cleanliness is up to par. I do have to say the customer service was excellent. Marissa and Jose assisted me in moving rooms. They were incredible friendly, accommodating, kind, thoughtful, and caring. They are an excellent example of top tier hotel staff who provide excellent customer service and accommodation.

Several issues with malfunctioning stuff in the rooms, but the staff was helpful so we made it through. The hotel freshly reopened and the restaurant is still closed, but there's tons of places in the neighborhood so you won't complain. Especially with free coupons to a very nice cafe next door.

Exceptional boutique hotel located in an excellent location near Park Avenue. There were a few hiccups upon the reopening, but the staff was very accommodating. Very convenient for a road warrior such as myself. Will definitely be returning soon!

Meu namorado e eu fomos para Nova York para uma escapadela e em nosso último dia inteiro, houve alguns problemas em nosso hotel anterior. Tivemos que encontrar outro lugar para ficar a última noite e o Renwick estava ao virar da esquina. Peter na recepção foi capaz de nos levar como um walk-in às 10h e nos deu um quarto o mais rápido possível. Eles estavam fechados há 2 anos devido ao Covid e houve alguns problemas no sistema para fazer o check-in como uma entrada, já que eles só foram reabertos uma semana. Bem, qualquer outra pessoa poderia ter nos dito muito mal, mas Peter fez tudo o que pôde no momento para nos ajudar e sou eternamente grato por isso. Estaremos de volta para a nossa próxima viagem de NYC!!

Eventualmente, eles admitiram que era porque haviam reaberto dois dias antes. Depois de mais de uma semana no hotel, você esperaria algum tipo de gesto para compensar o quanto comprometemos nossa estadia lá. PS, eles cobram uma taxa de destino quando você chega

No se deje engañar por las revisiones previas al covid. La primera habitación tenía el grifo roto, por lo que no se podía usar el lavabo del baño. La calefacción central tampoco funciona. Entré en una habitación nueva y todavía la estaban renovando, nadie la había revisado. Tercera habitación, nos conformamos, pero nuevamente, ¡no había calefacción central y wifi ni siquiera llegaba a la habitación! El caso de muchos invitados que escuchamos quejarse. Facilitamos un manitas en el pasillo para arreglar la caja fuerte en nuestra habitación. Locura. Mientras tanto, el personal no sabía lo que estaba pasando y seguía fingiendo que los problemas eran específicos del huésped. Finalmente admitieron que era porque habían reabierto dos días antes. Después de más de una semana en el hotel, esperaría algún tipo de gesto para compensar cuánto nos comprometimos en nuestra estadía allí. PD: agregan una tarifa de destino cuando llegas

My boyfriend and I headed to NYC for a getaway and on our final full day, there were some issues at our previous hotel. We had to find another place to stay the final night and the Renwick was right around the corner. Peter at the front desk was able to take us as a walk-in at 10am and got us a room ASAP. They had been closed for 2 years due to Covid and there were some system problems getting us checked in as a walk-in since they had only been reopen a week. Well anyone else could have told us too bad but Peter did everything he could in the moment to help us out and I am forever thankful for it. We will be back for our next NYC trip!!

Don’t be fooled by the pre covid reviews. First room had broken faucet so bathroom sink couldn’t be used. Central heating also not working. Walked into a new room and it was still being renovated, no one had checked. Third room, we settled for but again no central heating and wifi didn’t even reach the room! The case for many guests we heard complaining. We facilitated a handyman in the hallway to fix the safe in our room. Craziness. All the while, staff didn’t know what was going on and kept pretending like issues were specific to the guest. Eventually they admitted it was because they had reopened two days prior. After over a week in the hotel, you’d expect some kind of gesture to compensate for how much we compromised on our stay there. PS they tack on a destination fee when you arrive

The service was average at best, but the room was not worth half the price we paid. we got up to the room, and the door was left open. The lock on the door didn't work so they sent maintenance to fix it. This wasn't fixed for over an hour - we had to leave for an event and our door was left open because it couldn't lock (never offered to switch rooms). The Tv was broken, when we woke up the next day there was a roach running around in the bathroom. When we went downstairs to speak with someone the gentleman in front of us mentioned all the same things so it seems like a common theme for this place. Would not stay here.

Room was extremely hot and ac unit never would cool the room.Exposed outlets and cords.Blinds didn’t close all the way so you wake up when the sun comes up.Hotel staff never would answer the phone regardless of if you called from your room or from an outside line.No option to not have house keeping come into our room.The list can go on and on.

We had a wonderful stay at the Renwick, hotel staff were very helpful.
The restaurant was not open yet, however they provided other options and there were options nearby.
Would stay here again. Rooms were renovated and very modern.

Nós estivemos aqui algumas vezes. A recepção é sempre acolhedora e os quartos não são nada sofisticados, mas limpos! Não comemos no restaurante no interior, mas cheira bem. O hotel fica muito perto da Grand Central Station, de uma rede de padarias francesa "Paul" e de algumas lojas para fazer compras. Também há um cabeleireiro no mesmo quarteirão.

We have stayed here a few times. The front desk is always welcoming & the rooms are nothing fancy but clean! We have not eaten at the restaurant inside but it smells good. The hotel is very close to Grand Central Station, a French bakery chain "Paul", and some stores for shopping. There is also a hairstylist on the same block.

Nice and clean, big bathroom in comparison to bedroom size. Staff seemed to struggle how to explain the additional $35 per night you have to pay plus tax as a credit in the bar/restaurant. 1 manager said we could roll all payments into 1 large sum so we could eat a meal the other 2 managers said we couldn't????they take the payment even if you don't stay for a drink or food it's a bit naughty. I was charged $8 for a small can of beer poured into a glass and then was expected to pay a tip😂.right near Central station

I stayed for one night; king bed, 7th floor. I thought the hotel was great, from what I got to experience. The staff seemed helpful. There is a $35 "urban destination charge," per night; but you can use that as a credit in their restaurant. The hotel itself is artsy and edgy, which I found lovely. The elevators are tiny, but other than that, I thought the room was great. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean; great shower pressure (that matters!)

Reservei uma reserva de última hora devido à disponibilidade limitada em outros hotéis da região e foi agradavelmente surpreso com minha experiência. A equipe da recepção foi muito agradável e me ofereceu um upgrade de quarto de cortesia por ser um membro Diamante. Reconheço que, quando cheguei ao quarto, parecia exatamente o tipo de quarto pelo qual eu tinha pago, então não tenho certeza de qual era o upgrade (mas o gesto foi apreciado).O quarto era muito bem conservado e surpreendentemente grande. Foi muito silencioso durante a noite e os ruídos da rua foram limitados. As cortinas não pareciam fechar completamente, o que permitia muita luz no início da manhã, mas não era um grande problema.

Nice hotel! Muito conveniente para a Grand Central Station. Foi atualizado para uma suíte king por ser membro de diamante! Quarto poderia ser um pouco mais limpo (muito empoeirado), mas é bom. A vista é típica de um hotel no centro de Manhattan. Peça um quarto no último andar para uma melhor visualização. Fomos ao bar para tomar um drinque e tomar um lanche, eo barman foi ótimo e o hambúrguer foi um dos melhores que já comi !!! Mula de Moscou foi delicioso !!!

The hotel is around the corner from Grand Central and right in the heart of the city, just a 5-15 minute walk from tons of great spots. The room was surprisingly big and the staff are prompt and courteous. I called in a problem with my sink and it was fixed within a few hours while I was out. Plus they give you two free bottles of water a day to take with you out in the city.

Very friendly staff and beautiful room. Everyone from the employee who carried my suitcase down the front steps to the front desk to the servers in the restaurant was great. The room is way larger than expected for NYC and very cool decor. Fridge and microwave are a huge plus also!

Loved this quaint boutique hotel in midtown Manhattan. Accessible everywhere with grand central station only 1 block north. Staff were friendly, the suites were fun and the restaurant was very good.The hotel is also listed as a historic hotel of america. If you're looking for a large suite with the chain hotel experience - this is not it. If you're looking for modern, fun and a good renovation to an older space - this is it!

I booked a last minute reservation here due to limited availability at other hotels in the area and was delightfully surprised by my experience. The front desk staff were very pleasant and offered me a complimentary room upgrade for being a Diamond member. Admittedly, when I arrived at the room it looked like the exact room type I had paid for, so not certain what the upgrade was (but the gesture was appreciated).The room was very well maintained and surprisingly large. It was very quiet through the evening and disruption from street noises limited. The window shades didn't seem to close fully which allowed a lot of light in early in the morning but was not a major issue.

Nice hotel! Very convenient to Grand Central Station. Got upgraded to a king suite for being diamond members! Room could be a little cleaner (very dusty) but it is nice. View is typical for a downtown Manhattan hotel. Ask for a room on top floor for better view. We went to the bar for drinks and a snack and the bartender was great and the burger was one of the best I've ever had!!! Moscow mule was delicious!!!
