“This is my only second bad review written ever. I should’ve written on for the Ritz S blvd Miami as well. The staff were pleasant but few, and entirely unaware of the hotel’s amenities or it’s surroundings. No indication at all was given that Club Level was completely gone and The Punch Room not open. If anything the website inferred the opposite. Getting assistance with my wife’s luggage upon arrival was a chore as opposed to a standard. When leaving I loaded her luggage piece by piece in the cold with a spraying mist while a valet and a door man watched. Paid or not no local transportation or shuttle was even offered. Uber was frowned upon and access denied yet we had no other option. I may sound trite or come across as arrogant but when for one evening you pay $1883 for a standard suite and $117 for an egg & bacon breakfast for two you expect, if not great, at least good or caring service. I work extremely hard for my money and I enjoy the occasional opportunity to spoil my wife. Unfortunately this was not the case.”

“Absolutely an amazing and stunning property. The rooms were beyond belief, particularly loved the tub within the suite. Penthouse pool and spa are both absolutely amazing and have fantastic views of the city. Would like to thank one of the gentlemen from the Ritz, Sunny, thank you for your assistance and making this trip so memorable.”

We were there for an event and did not stay there. Meeting rooms average, but food served was very good.
In the heart of downtown Charlotte, NC. Paid parking next door. Valet parking available, but a massive waiting line to access this service. We parked next door at a public parking garage. Not cheap. $10.00 for 3 hours parking after normal office hours.
We have been to numerous Ritz Carlton Hotels worldwide. This location was below average to other locations visited

This review is in regards to the spa specifically. I booked massages for myself, my sister, and my mother to celebrate my mothers birthday. While the massages themselves were adequate, the experiences the three of us had were not consistent at all. One member of the party was told she could not have her pressure preferences accommodated while the other two had no issues. We had planned to eat lunch at the resort, however, when we went to the Aqua Lounge, we were locked out and told by staff we needed a pass which we were not provided. Once we finally got in, nobody came to take our orders. There were black flies on the walls and the champagne we received had a noticeable stain on one of the glasses. We eventually decided to leave to eat. We found that our experience fell far short when compared to other resort spas in the area. I did communicate these concerns to the corporate office but never received a response of any type. I would not go to this spa again.

Denise helped us check in and her service is unmatched. The hotel is sparkling clean. The amenities are up to date. The hotel is in the perfect location. What more is there to ask for. I am looking forward to my spa day tomorrow. The only small critique I have, and maybe my experience was an anomaly, but the wait and the K lounge was pretty long, service was slow, and there was only 1 bartender.

It was our third time staying here for a football game vs the Seahawks (I know, my review is a little late, but better late than never!) Great stay, walking proximity to stadium. Nice Christmas...

Everything about this location is top-notch. The spa specifically is very high end, clean, and simply makes this hotel. Make sure to visit the spa here regardless of whether you are getting a service...

Mediocre and overpriced

To be honest itâs a fine hotel. The problem is that itâs about 2-3 times more expensive than hotels that are also nice. For half price I think there are better options with great service and nice...
