Nice room pior internet

Esse lugar é especial. É uma explosão do passado e faz você se sentir como se estivesse em um lugar muito mais legal do que Bloomingdale, IL. O bar da caverna está doente e, francamente, toda a área do lobby principal é tão boa que espero que eles nunca o reformam para que eu possa continuar alimentando meu apetite nostálgico. A piscina é legal, o minigolfe costumava ser legal, mas parece que acabou. Não se preocupe. Também adoro como tudo tem o tema hexágono. Como até os próprios quartos de hotel são hexágonos. Se você gosta de cinema e arquitetura retrô, este é o lugar.

This place is special. It’s a blast from the past and makes you feel like you’re somewhere way cooler than Bloomingdale, IL. The cave bar is sick, and frankly the whole main lobby zone is so nice and I hope they never renovate it so I can keep feeding my nostalgia appetite. Pool is cool, mini golf used to be cool but looks like that’s over. No worries though. I also love how everything is hexagon themed. Like even the hotel rooms themselves are hexagons. If you like movies and retro architecture, this is the place.

Meu marido alugou o hotel para o nosso pós-parto de 6 semanas fugir depois de ter nossa menina no dia de Ação de Graças de 2020. Embora a equipe foi maravilhosa, o próprio hotel era horrível! Parecia que tinha sido inundado vez após vez, mas estávamos no segundo andar! Eu mal conseguia respirar na sala! Foi ainda pior quando o calor começou. O elevador não funcionava e ficava abrindo aleatoriamente quando caminhávamos. O tapete era nojento. Eu queria tanto obter um reembolso o mais rápido possível, mas não tínhamos vontade de interromper nossos planos do dia ou tomar uma hora e meia de volta para casa imediatamente. Todas as partes emocionantes foram fechadas. Ele definitivamente precisa ser renovado. Não vamos estar de volta a menos que seja renovado. Você sabe como as pessoas dizem "eu não desejaria isso ao meu pior inimigo?" Na verdade, eu desejaria isso ao meu pior inimigo lol, fosse tão ruim assim.

Visited in October. Quick check in, very spacious, good customer service. The room was beautiful and clean.

My husband rented the hotel for our 6 week postpartum get away after having our baby girl on thanksgiving 2020. Although the staff was wonderful the hotel itself was awful! It smelled like it’d been flooded time after time, yet we were on the second floor! I could barely breathe in the room! It was even worse when the heat came on. The elevator didn’t work and kept randomly opening when we would walk by. The carpet was disgusting. I wanted to get a refund ASAP so bad but we didn’t feel like cutting off our day plans short or suddenly taking the hour at half drive back home right away. All exciting parts were closed off. It definitely needs to be renovated. We will not be back unless renovated. You know how people say “i wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy?” I actually would wish it on my worse enemy lol it was that bad.

The ambiance of the lobby was welcoming. Front desk attendants were accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and was well-kept.

Dog friendly, with beautiful atrium with waterfalls and plants. Really exceptional atmosphere in the rooms lots of space for activities!

Raggedy but clean

Fue mi primera vez en este lugar y la piscina estaba muy buena pero les falta mas aseo en las habitaciones , el cuarto que me asignaron tenia en el piso del baño arroz y mucho cabello en la ducha 😒😖😖😖 es un lugar publico y creo que la limpieza debe ser excelenteThat was my first time there but I was disappointed because the room I got was dirty there were pieces of rice in the bathrooms floor and hair in the shower and because its a public place the cleaningshould be really good the only thing I really enjoyed was the pool

Eu não recomendaria ficar aqui. As imagens no site são muito enganadoras. O quarto foi relativamente limpos, e a equipe foi muito simpática. Tapete em todo o "resort" parece ser de 20 anos de idade, e é coberto com manchas. Todo o exterior da propriedade está cheio de ervas daninhas. O café da manhã é uma piada. Área da piscina coberta foi nice e espaçosos, com uma grande ofurô. Salve seu dinheiro arduamente ganho e fique em outro lugar.

O quarto é grande e espaçoso, mas o hotel está bem abandonado. Tem mato crescendo em volta. A piscina externa está desativada, o campo de mini golfe também abandonado e cheio de mato. O carpete e as camas são bem antigos. Não há máquinas de lavar e secar disponíveis para os hóspedes. Se você precisar cuidar das roupas, precisa levar a uma lavanderia fora. A cidade é uma gracinha, mas o hotel está muito mal cuidado.

Muy bonita hotel

We were looking for a nice place to celebrate our anniversary without breaking the bank. Under $100 for a Saturday night stay! Mission accomplished! Although the place is older and a little outdated it is still a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. We were pleasantly surprised. That being said there were areas of the property that needed attention and repair but overall a good value and we'll be back.

I would not recommend staying here. The pictures on the website are very misleading. Our room was relatively clean, and the staff was very friendly. Carpet throughout the “resort” seems to be 20 years old, and is covered with stains. The entire exterior of the property is filled with overgrown weeds. Breakfast is a joke. The indoor pool area was nice and spacious, with a large hot tub. Save your hard earned money, and stay somewhere else.

This hotel is the best value around in the Chicago area. The service was impeccable and the hotel has great amenities. Our stay was absolutely spectacular.The hotel is massive and very luxurious, generous size rooms and many interior details not offered by other hotels costing so much more. We love it and we highly recommend it.Breakfast was great, from the choices of pastries, yogurt and the pancake station.The hotel can use a bit of updating in some areas but nothing concerning or distracting.I still believe that the aging aspect of the hotel is greatly trumped by the level of service and sheer overall quality they offer.
