“This hotel is a very special place to stay! It's literally steps from Macchu Picchu entrance. Enjoy the views of Huayna Picchu and the ruins from the hotel long after visitors are calm - beauty and serenity! The orchid garden is like a piece of the Amazon - full of fountains and hummingbirds. You can do yoga with a view or enjoy the many seating areas hidden away from the crowds. It's truly an oasis. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean and cozy. Service is perfect! Thank you to John and Manuel for taking care of all the logistical issues like entering Macchu Picchu and getting the bus back to the train station - all without having to wait in line. There are a lot of logistics to deal with so this was priceless. Thank you to Sebastian and Valerie for their warmth and help with our bags! Thank you to Lizbet for our extensive tour of Macchu Picchu. Thank you to Roy and Jehyson our great servers. Food at the Belmond is some of the best we had in Peru. Finally we'd like to mention all the greeting staff who care to know you by name! You'll be happy you stayed here!”
