“I've never written a hotel review in my life because I'm lazy but had such a negative experience at this hotel that it has willed me to get on to my computer and spend 5 minutes furiously typing away.Firstly, this "5 star hotel" did not accept credit card payments and instead requested direct debit to a Turkish bank account. I sent the payment 2 weeks prior to my stay to the correct information from an EU Bank account, but they “never received it”. Despite sending bank statements directly from my bank, they said it was “insufficient documentation” and are threatening to open a court case against me. Glad I had a good last time in Turkey.On top of a “missing direct debit payment” (which was deducted from my bank account to the correct Turkish account and has been proven via bank statements), the rest of the experience was more aligned with a 2 star hotel:1. One of our rooms was never cleaned 1 night despite leaving the room early 2. We had a wedding and sent our dresses to dry cleaning with assurance that we would get them in time. We did not. 3. The front desk was incredibly rude and incompetent. For example, when we requested taxis, they said “go wait outside and ask for one because we can’t help” (I’ve gotten better service at hostels when I was 16). You can imagine how the conversation with my payment went… 4. Overall service was either incredibly slow or never arrived (including simple orders like coffee).Hope this review helps management figure out their payment situation and improve all types of services within the hotel by 10000x. Una de nuestras habitaciones nunca se limpió 1 noche a pesar de dejar la habitación temprano 2. Tuvimos una boda y enviamos nuestros vestidos a tintorería con la seguridad de que los recibiríamos a tiempo. No lo hicimos. 3. La recepción fue increíblemente grosera e incompetente. Por ejemplo, cuando pedíamos taxis, decían “ve a esperar afuera y pide uno porque no podemos ayudar” (he tenido mejor servicio en los albergues cuando tenía 16 años). Puedes imaginar cómo fue la conversación con mi pago… 4. El servicio en general fue increíblemente lento o nunca llegó (incluidos los pedidos simples como el café).Espero que esta revisión ayude a la gerencia a determinar su situación de pago y mejorar todos los tipos de servicios dentro del hotel en 10000x. “Wonderful boutique hotel in an excellent location, right near a tram stop and the beautiful Bosphorus waterfront. Market, ATMs, restaurants all right there. Staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was very good, good variety, and well presented. I paid a little extra to get a superior room on a higher floor, and it was worth it. I was in the back of the hotel, so good to be higher, otherwise, would be looking into another building, not really any views from the room but quiet considering the busy area. There was a window which opened in the bathroom and was really gorgeous. The room had such a beautiful feel with the design and lighting. Bed and bedding very comfortable. I ate at the restaurant and it was good, but lacked some ambience inside, it was on rooftop and they have a small rooftop bar. Would definitely stay again! Maravilhoso hotel boutique em uma excelente localização, perto de uma parada de bonde e da bela orla do Bósforo. Mercado, caixas eletrônicos, restaurantes todos ali. A equipe foi ótima e útil. Café da manhã muito bom, variado e bem apresentado. Paguei um pouco mais para conseguir um quarto superior em um andar superior, e valeu a pena. Eu estava na parte de trás do hotel, tão bom ser mais alto, caso contrário, estaria olhando para outro prédio, não há realmente nenhuma vista do quarto, mas tranquilo, considerando a área movimentada. Havia uma janela que se abria no banheiro e era realmente linda. O quarto tinha uma sensação tão bonita com o design e a iluminação. Cama e roupa de cama muito confortáveis.
