Coroico is a hill top town in the [wiki=801266a8cf649767d829d78bc6fcaa7a]Yungas region[/wiki] of [wiki=28aaafc355915903ce4a7e1d3af3bc4e]Bolivia[/wiki] and is a good place to spend a night before heading to [wiki=c832f763eaa5e666cb0a7600238fb9e2]La Paz[/wiki], or further north toward the Jungle. Because of the lower elevation, the weather is quite nice by comparison to La Paz, and has a resort-like feel to it. Weekends are busier with Paceños.
