NH Collection Marseille is a 4-star hotel situated between the old port and the city center of Marseille, in “La Joliette”. Its historical Haussmanian building is located in the old “Imperial Street” of Marseille, inaugurated by Napoleon III in 1864, and then renamed “Rue de la République” after his departure. You will find the main attractions of the city: “Le Vieux Port”, “Le Panier” and its picturesque little streets, and also “Le MUCEM”. Its 176 rooms have an elegant decoration in accordance with the charming Haussmanian style of the hotel. The hotel provides a wide range of customized services, such as the fully equipped fitness center and diverse meeting rooms. The hotel offers the best of the traditional Spanish food: the restaurant “Tablafina”. You can also find the cocktail bar, located in the lobby of the hotel and a cosy winter garden.

“NH Collection Marseille tiene una excelente ubicación a tan solo unos minutos a pie del centro y, además, está bien conectado con la red de transporte público local (metro, bus, tram).Habitaciones muy confortables, bien insonorizadas y con máquina de café incluida. El desayuno buffet es muy completo y cuenta con un personal atento, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y recomendar buenos planes para disfrutar de la ciudad.¡Volveremos!”

“Stayed 3 nights in what is actually a lovely property. Good central location with tram and bus stops round the corner. Well designed spacious room with exception of the bathroom. Not only is it small but the ventilation didn’t work at all.
The reception explained that the hotel has central air conditioning and that it is too cool outside for the air conditioning so only heating is possible. What this has to do with the bathroom ventilation is beyond me???
Every morning(3x) we told the reception our issue and everyday we are told that the technician will fix it. Never happened- all the technician did was turn up the heating system in the room !?! Language problem… maybe. But one always had the impression that the receptionist was irritated and not really interested in solving the problem! For 500€ (3 nights and was not a special offer booked directly with nh) one may not expect much but a functional ventilation and polite staff would have been nice!
Breakfast selection is average however if you come at 9am like most guests there was always a problem with the eggs (always almost empty trays - 3 mornings in a row ). You have to find a server who will then bring you 2 fried eggs! No staff actually walks around to fill up empty trays. Nh collection? I’ve definitely had better stays in this group.”
