Four stars. Given the COVID-19 environment and fact that the eye of Hurricane Ida was over Baton Rouge, the staff manages the hotel well. They do offer the option for a hot or cold breakfast and they have hot coffee. I’d like to point out that the management should train the staff to know the company policy for service animals and to be more sensitive to travelers with service animals. The kitchen staff rudely made comments to me about how service animals are not permitted anywhere in the kitchen areas —I did check with the front desk. I highly recommend the management also post whatever the company policy is in a place to let guests know. Overall, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Yes the hotel could stand to be updated and they need to do better with TV offerings. Still, of those things were deal breakers for me. I had a pleasant stay overall.

Minha esposa voou para Baton Rouge hoje para trabalhar. Ela tinha uma reserva no Hyatt que fez três semanas atrás. Quando ela chegou ao hotel esta noite, foi informada que cancelou sua reserva. Quando ela mostrou a eles seu aplicativo Hyatt e mostrou que ainda estava ativo, disseram que alguém ligou e deixou uma mensagem. Ela não tinha chamadas perdidas nem mensagens. Disseram a ela que entendiam por que isso seria frustrante, mas disseram que o quarto dela não estava garantido. Ela não é uma viajante novata e passa uma quantidade considerável de tempo na estrada e em hotéis - isso NUNCA aconteceu. Agora, devido ao furacão Nicholas, não há quartos disponíveis em Baton Rouge. Eles fizeram nenhum esforço para ajudá-la e enviaram uma mulher sozinha, sem onde ficar em uma cidade estranha. Liguei para o hotel depois que ela me ligou para tentar entender e tudo o que podiam dizer é que alguém ligou e deixou recado. Quando eu os pressionei sobre quando e quem eles disseram - nós não ligamos aqui, ela vem de cima, mas ela só precisa verificar suas mensagens. Ela mostrou a eles quando estava no hotel que não tinha chamadas perdidas nem mensagens. Se ela tivesse recebido uma ligação, nunca teria entrado no avião! Estou impressionado com o tratamento e que eles permitiriam que alguém viajasse todo aquele caminho e ficasse preso. Muito desapontado - parece que estamos de volta ao Hilton para nós !! Isso nunca teria acontecido lá !!

Mi esposa voló hoy a Baton Rouge por motivos de trabajo. Tenía una reserva en Hyatt que hizo hace tres semanas. Cuando llegó al hotel esta noche, le dijeron que canceló su reserva. Cuando les mostró su aplicación Hyatt y les mostró que aún estaba activa, le dijeron que alguien llamó y dejó un mensaje. No tenía llamadas perdidas ni mensajes. Le dijeron que entendían por qué esto sería frustrante, pero dijeron que su habitación no estaba garantizada. No es un viajero novato y pasa una cantidad considerable de tiempo en la carretera y en hoteles; esto NUNCA ha sucedido. Ahora, debido al huracán Nicholas, no hay habitaciones disponibles en todo Baton Rouge. No hicieron ningún esfuerzo por ayudarla y enviaron a una mujer por su cuenta sin dónde alojarse en una ciudad extraña. Llamé al hotel después de que ella me llamó para tratar de entender y todo lo que pudieron decir es que alguien llamó y dejó un mensaje. Cuando los presioné sobre cuándo y a quién dijeron, no hacemos la llamada aquí, viene de arriba, pero ella solo necesita revisar sus mensajes. Les mostró cuando estaba en el hotel que no tenía llamadas perdidas ni mensajes. Si hubiera recibido una llamada, ¡nunca habría subido al avión! Estoy asombrado por el tratamiento y que permitirían que alguien viajara todo ese camino para quedarse varado. Muy decepcionado, ¡parece que ha vuelto a Hilton para nosotros! ¡¡Esto nunca hubiera sucedido allí !!

My wife flew into Baton Rouge today for work. She had a reservation at Hyatt that she made three weeks ago. When she arrived at the hotel tonight, she was told the cancelled her reservation. When she showed them her Hyatt app and showed them it was still active she was told someone called and left a message. She had no missed calls and no messages. The told her they understood why this would be frustrating but said her room was not guaranteed? She is not a novice traveler and spends a considerable amount of time on the road and in hotels- this has NEVER happened. Now due to Hurricane Nicholas there are no available rooms in all of Baton Rouge. They made zero effort to help her and sent a woman out in her own with no where to stay in a strange city. I called the hotel after she called me to try to understand and all they could say is that someone called and left message. When I pressed them on when and who they said - we don’t make the call here it comes from above but she just needs to check her messages. She showed them when she was in the hotel that she had no missed calls and no messages. If she had gotten a call she just never would have gotten on the plane! I am blown away by the treatment and that they would allow someone to travel all that way to be left stranded. Very disappointed - looks like it’s back to Hilton for us!! This never would have happened there!!

I stayed here immediately after the area was hit by a tropical storm. I was concerned that it would negatively affect my stay, but I have to say that it did not. My entire stay was pleasant. If they can run this place without a hitch after dealing with a tropical storm, I'm fairly certain that it's no problem under normal circumstances.

A equipe tem sido encantadora, mas os quartos cheiram assim já foi uma sala para fumantes misturada com urina de gato e são incrivelmente antiquados. Nenhum lugar para conectar o telefone ao lado da cama, nenhum plugue USB e o WIFI não funciona. Reservado devido à proximidade com o hospital, mas sinto que cometi um erro terrível.

The staff have been delightful but the rooms smell like this was once a smoking room mixed with cat urine and are incredibly dated. No place to plug in phone next to bed, no USB plugs whatsoever, andWIFI not working. Booked due to proximity to hospital but feel I have made a terrible mistake.

Ótima localização, perto de alimentos, compras e atividades. Os quartos eram grandes (tamanho do apartamento de eficiência), desinfetados, muito limpos e as camas e travesseiros eram confortáveis. Pessoal foi amigável, útil e rápido para responder aos pedidos e quaisquer necessidades. Mobiliário atraente e belos jardins. Definitivamente ficarei com eles novamente para nossa próxima visita a Baton Rouge!

Nice location, close to food, shopping and activities. Rooms were large (efficiency apartment size), disinfected, very clean, and beds & pillows were comfortable. Staff was friendly, helpful and quick to respond to requests and any needs. Attractive furnishings and beautiful grounds. Will definitely stay with them again for our next visit to Baton Rouge!

Excelente lugar!!! Muy limpio. Las habitaciones amplias y organizadas. El desayuno ni hablar muy bueno. Le cambiaría solo 2 cosas El tiempo de desayuno que no sea tan corto Y la recepción las chicas no son muy sonrientes, no son rostros que den bienvenida a este lugar. Pero las recamareras son muy atentas y agradables. Nos hospedamos con nuestros hijos así que es perfecta para la familia
