We absolutely loved our stay here. There was some confusion about our prepaid reservation and I had a horrible travel time getting there. But it all worked out and we are very glad we stayed here. The hotel is exceptional as well as the service. We will be returning soon.

Bellissimo hotel in una zona molto tranquilla e interessante di Venezia. Vicina alla stazione principale e con entrata su un canale. Il palazzo è bellissimo dentro e fuori e il personale alla reception gentilissimo e attento alle esigenze dei clienti.C'è un bel giardino nel retro e ristorante gazebo. Il bar è a fianco, anche lì, molto bello.

Palazzo dei Dogi está em um bairro residencial maravilhoso em Cannaregio, que era muito mais silencioso do que nas áreas turísticas e era um lugar encantador para caminhar e ver o que resta da "verdadeira" Veneza. Ainda está a uma curta distância de todos os pontos turísticos e usamos o Vaporetto para chegar lá, com uma estação a algumas centenas de metros do hotel. A equipe foi excepcionalmente simpática e prestativa, e eles estavam muito dispostos a fornecer conselhos e responder a perguntas sobre como se locomover em Veneza e nas ilhas próximas. Os quartos são grandes e muito tradicionais, mas com banheiros atualizados e bom ar condicionado, o que é obrigatório em Veneza em épocas do ano. O jardim na parte de trás é excelente -- um dos melhores de Veneza, e o café da manhã no pátio foi uma delícia, assim como a variedade e a qualidade do café da manhã.Agora, pelo motivo de não podermos dar ao hotel 5 estrelas no momento: está em reforma, o que foi um pouco incômodo e diminuiu a experiência geral. O hotel fez um trabalho decente de gerenciamento de ruído e poeira das obras, mas o restaurante está fechado atualmente (exceto para café da manhã no pátio), e é preciso sair para visitar o bar do hotel (que nem sabíamos que existia até que pedimos). Portanto, planejamos voltar a este excelente hotel, mas verificaremos se as reformas estão completas antes de fazê-lo.

Palazzo dei Dogi is in a wonderful residential neighborhood in Cannaregio, which was much quieter than in the tourist areas and was a lovely place to walk and see what remains of the "real" Venice. It is still within walking distance of all of the tourist locations and we used the Vaporetto to get there, with a station a few hundred meters from the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they were very willing to provide advice and answer questions about how to get around Venice and the nearby islands. The rooms are large and very traditional but with nice updated bathrooms and good air conditioning, which is a must in Venice at times of the year. The garden in the back is superb -- one of the best in Venice, and breakfast on the patio there was a delight, as were the variety and quality of breakfast. Now for the reason we cannot give the hotel 5 stars at this time: it is undergoing renovation, which was a bit of a bother and diminished the overall experience. The hotel did a decent job of managing noise and dust from the construction work, but the restaurant currently is closed (except for breakfast on the patio), and one must go outside to visit the hotel's bar (which we didn't even know existed until we we asked). So we plan to return to this excellent hotel but will check to ensure the renovations are complete before doing so.

Nós apreciamos a nossa estadia no NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel, funcionários super simpáticos e educados, eles nos ajudaram com todos os pequenos detalhes, o próprio hotel parece incrível, tem um grande jardim cheio de flores e árvores, muito bonito, o quarto era agradável e limpo, era limpo todos os dias e o café da manhã era muito saboroso. Obrigado por tudo ❤️

Eu gostaria de poder colocar 5 estrelas porque a equipe e o serviço de concierge foram super prestativos e realmente nos deram um ótimo reconhecimento + lidaram com todas as nossas reservas para tudo o que não tivemos tempo de planejar com antecedência, e eles cumprem os outros 5 hotéis estrela em que tive a sorte de ficar. Os jardins são lindos e o píer na parte de trás do hotel oferece uma excelente vista. No entanto, durante a nossa estadia, o hotel estava sendo reformado, o spa estava totalmente fechado, o restaurante também, e o café da manhã era bastante básico. Todas essas desvantagens não alteraram as tarifas das noites e nada disso foi explicitamente mencionado no momento da reserva. Entendo, não há hora perfeita para refrescar o interior de um hotel, não há como fazer isso sem martelos e furadeiras durante a maior parte do dia, mas não deveria ser pelo preço total das tarifas do hotel para o hóspede que livro naquela época. Novamente, nada contra a equipe do hotel, todos eles eram de fato 5 *, mas mais uma mensagem para a gerência do NH.

We enjoyed our stay at NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel, super friendly and polite Staff, they helped us with every tiny detail, the hotel itself looks amazing, it has a big garden full with flowers and trees, very beautiful, the room was nice and clean, it was cleaned every day and the breakfast was very tasty. Thank you for everything ❤️

I wish I could put 5 stars because the staff and concierge service was super helpful and truly gave us great reco + handled all our bookings for everything we didn’t have time to plan for ahead of time, and they live up to the other 5 star hotels I’ve been fortunate to stay at. The gardens are beautiful and the pier at the back of the hotel offers a great view. However during our stay the hotel was being refurbished, spa was fully closed, restaurant too, and the breakfast was quite basic. All these downsides didn’t change the rates of the nights and none of it was explicitly mentioned at time of booking. I get it, there’s no perfect time to refresh the inside of a hotel, there’s no way to do that without hammers and drills for most of the daytime, but it shouldn’t be at the full price of the hotel rates for the guest who book at that time. Again, nothing against the hotel staff, all of them were indeed 5*, but more a message for NH management.

Meu parceiro e eu com um casal de amigos ficamos aqui no domingo 23 \ 4 e na segunda 25 \ 4. Tenho uma palavra para este hotel: ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO! uma experiência REALMENTE LINDA! Os funcionários foram muito educados e prestativos. Uma nota particularmente positiva para o concierge (infelizmente esqueci o nome dele) que realmente nos deu MUITAS informações úteis! Para dar um pouco de ordem à revisão, aparecemos por volta das 11h para pedir para deixar nossas malas, mas eles nos permitiram fazer o check-in diretamente (embora a indicação no site seja às 15h, muito apreciada). Depois de visitar Veneza, voltando ao quarto infelizmente percebemos que o hóspede anterior havia fumado no banheiro (embora seja proibido), infelizmente deixando um cheiro ruim. Relataram a situação ao hotel, eles nos permitiram mudar de quarto, nos dando um quarto muito maior (acho que um premium, ou talvez até um j-suite). Como em todos os 5 estrelas, há um serviço de abertura de cama para a noite. Também visitamos o belo jardim botânico que eles têm na parte de trás do hotel, com vista para a lagoa. Segunda-feira após o check-out, tivemos novamente a oportunidade de deixar nossas malas para continuar nossa visita a Veneza. Repito realmente recomendado! Se eu fosse forçado a criticar, apontaria a falta de uma chaleira no quarto (seria muito apreciada) e a possibilidade de um procedimento de check-in mais rápido, mas esses são detalhes irrelevantes para um hotel realmente bonito com funcionários de 5 ESTRELAS!

Lindo hotel, muito limpo cinco estrelas e vale as estrelas. Funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Dois dias e ansioso para o resto da minha estadia. Quatro dias e algumas coisas a serem observadas. Atualmente, há trabalho sendo realizado no Hotel, portanto, batendo e perfurando durante o dia, isso não é um problema para nós, pois estamos explorando. No entanto, o Restaurante também está fechado. O spa ainda está fechado devido aos regulamentos do covid aqui e uma máscara FFP2 deve ser usada em todas as áreas públicas internas e em todos os transportes públicos. Continuou por bem mais de uma hora. Há também andaimes do lado de fora da nossa janela nos jardins Embora eu tenha gostado da minha estadia aqui, peço a qualquer pessoa que venha para se certificar de que está em uma sala bem longe do trabalho em andamento, apenas criticando agora também, não há instalações para fazer chá em o quarto, a menos que solicitado e não seja complementado pelo serviço de quarto, e a TV tem anos e não é uma TV inteligente. Novamente, isso não é um problema para mim, pois não vim a Veneza para assistir TV Veneza é uma cidade verdadeiramente adorável e muito para ver e visitar aqui a pé e usando o ônibus aquático. Os táxis aquáticos são caros. Preste atenção também nas pessoas que te agarram na rua, pois elas vão enganá-lo.

Beautiful hotel, very clean five star and is worth the stars. Staff very friendly and attentive. Two days in and looking forward to the rest of my stay. Four days in and a couple of things to note. There is currently work being carried out at the Hotel so banging and drilling during the day, this is not an issue for us as we are out exploring. However the Restaurant is also closed. The spa is still closed due to covid regulations here and an FFP2 mask must be worn in all indoor public areas and on all public transport.day 5 woken up by very loudbanging on water pipes where workmen working in the room above us at 7am. Continued for well over an hour. There is also scaffolding outside our window in the gardens Although I have enjoyed my stay here I would urge anyone coming to make sure they are in a room well away from the ongoing work, just nitpicking now as well, there are no tea making facilities in the room unless requested and are not topped up by room service, and the T.V. is years old and not a smart T.V.. Again this is not an issue for me as I didn't come to Venice to watch T.V. Venice is a truly lovely city and lots to see and visit here on foot and using the water bus. The water Taxi's are expensive though. Also look out for the people that grab you in the street as they will rip you off.

Hotel en Venecia, que tiene pinta que antes era espectacular, pero ya no. El personal amable, pero la habitación pequeña, decoración vieja, y el baño de los años 70 por decir algo. Pedimos la cena en la habitación, y una verguenza la calidad para ser un 5 estrellas. La localización muy lejos del centro. No repetiriamos

THIS IS NOT 5 STARS HOTEL!! however hotel itself is very authentic. But lacking of service. Not worth it. -We booked a room with an extra bed but there is no extra bed when we arrive. The staff says he didn’t see any requirements on his screen. We need to explain and show him a proof from booking. -We book a room without breakfast but when we check-in the staff offers us to pay €20 instead of €25 if we buy a breakfast during the check-in time. So we bought a breakfast for 2 days. In the morning the staff who managing the breakfast area couldn’t find our name on their list. He shout to another staff at the front desk to check about our booking details and say to us “the breakfast is not including for your room” (without any friendly tone)after we explained and discussed with him for a while about our breakfast.we are standing in middle of the lobby. Need to wait to get inside. The second morning was the same ! He can’t find our name on their list. Shouting with another front desk staff about our breakfast. After we got a table he still speak about us in Italian(Even we don’t understand the whole things but it doesn’t seem nice with his way of speaking) The only person who has service mind is the lady who serve the drink. IS THIS A SERVICE OF 5 STARS HOTEL? -the breakfast is not as good as I expected. Lack of choice and quality.(we have been to another hotels during the pandemic and even the 3 stars and 4 stars hotel are better than this) -the room is very old but we are looking for something authentic so this is acceptable for us.

This was the absolute worst travel experience I've ever had. I booked this hotel (two beds) while traveling with a friend for two nights in Venice. We booked this hotel due to the beautiful photos and the restaurant that was mentioned as part of the hotel. When we arrived, it took 15 minutes for anyone to pay attention to us. We were then told we had been upgraded to a canal view room. We asked to verify that this upgrade had two beds, as we were two friends traveling and needed two beds, and were told yes. We bring our bags upstairs to find this is only a one bed room. We immediately go back downstairs and are moved to a different room. We dropped our bags and went to get lunch. When we arrived back, we found a maintenance person in our room. Our room had been flooded in the entrance by the A/C. It was then that we noticed that there was black mold and water running down the walls. We desperately had to use the restroom and it was then that we discovered that the toilet was filthy and had not even been cleaned. We then went downstairs and were moved to yet ANOTHER room. We got to this room and it also had just one bed, so we went downstairs again and were told this time that the beds could be separated and someone could come up to do this. At this point, we asked what time the aforementioned restaurant opened for dinner. (The reason we booked this specific hotel is because it came with a $100 resort credit to be used at the restaurant.) We were then told that the restaurant was closed. This is not mentioned in my booking or on the hotel's direct website at all. We then went out for dinner elsewhere. When we arrived back late in the evening (around midnight), we found that our room had not been set up with two beds. We ended up actually falling asleep in the lobby while we waited OVER AN HOUR for someone to be able to help us. Separately, we were told that we could use our $100 (about 80 Euro) resort credit at the bar or on breakfast. We found this unacceptable and misleading. We specifically booked this hotel due to the photos of the restaurant and food. We do not drink and honestly the breakfast looked gross and basic. We were unable to utilize this benefit. This horrific experience totally ruined our once in a lifetime trip to Venice. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! We have asked for a refund or accommodation and have tried to work with the hotel, but they have refused. Hence this review.

Nice hotel, staff is very friendly, they even offered me to keep my luggage during my stay in the city, as you could not put it in your car, but a few minors were missing, the charger 🔌 plugs in my room were all broken, only one in the bathroom worked, I didn’t have a night lamp in my room, but other than that it was fine

El hotel es precioso. La habitación es grande y la cama es muy cómoda. El baño es grande y siempre está calentito. La atención del personal es de 10. La ubicación está un poco lejos del centro pero el hotel tiene un servicio gratuito de traslado hasta la Plaza de San Marcos. Así que todo genial.
